Beagle Point from the Bubble - is the Abyss still a challenge?

Some friends and I are planning a trip to Beagle Point. Is the Abyss still a threat given current (Horizons) engineering, or can we muscle right through it? I'm taking an anaconda with about a 50 LY jump range loaded down.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you're willing to offer.

50ly if fine. Heading away from BP myself with a conda and had no trouble getting there. The star field thins out quite a bit and you'll do more jumps to non scoopable stars if selected, but there are no issues.

I returned to Beagle Point last year in my 40LY 'Conda, previously I did DWE in my 30LY Asp & that was a mare crossing the Abyss.

I crossed the Abyss at random points & found it straight forward. I'd stocked up on jumponium, but only used 2 or 3 J1's & they were just to avoid a few jumps detour.

So at 50LY jump range you'll probably not know that you are crossing the Abyss

I did it in a stock 33LY Asp and went via the aptly named "Route 33"

So a 50LY Anaconda would be a breeze ...

Thank you all, very much, for taking the time to reply. I really appreciate it. My team wants to wait for Beyond to release and the new engineering before making the trip. I'm getting the itch, though...need to head out soon!

I made it through the Abyss from Oevasy SG-Y d0 with a 46.5 LY jump range with little issues. Once you get out to the very edge you'll need some jumponium but the Abyss wasn't a challenge. I think there's a route that someone discovered that a 29 LY ship can make it across anyhow.

I did go straight through abyss with my 52ly DBX and only issue that I had was with plotting over long distance. It failed to plot path to Beagle point from 10000ly. So first I did plotted jump to start of abyss and then directly to Beagle point

With "just" 50ly i wouldn't head directly into the Abyssal Plain but Beagle Point shouldn't be a problem ;)
I've discovered last week 2 ELW and 5 Ammonias untagged just 2,5k ly away from the bubble. With 60ly Anaconda right underneath the bubble, the stars thin out so much that nearly no one was there and i expect the same circumstance at the Abyssal Plain.
IF you go out there instead to Beagle Point, be prepared for a lot of manual jump-per-jump route plotting and the use of a lot of Jumponium

I did my first visit to beagle point in a pre-horizons 39LY Anconda. You should be more than fine with 50.
