Bearizona

Wildlife park offering a drive-thru experience starring wolves, bears, bison, mountain goats & more.

ABOUT BEARIZONA WILDLIFE PARK
Bearizona is approximately 160 acres. Visitors will drive through more than three miles of Ponderosa Pine Forest viewing North American animals in natural habitats when they visit. More animals are exhibited in Fort Bearizona, a beautiful 20-acre walk-thru area, along winding paths which is more of a "zoo" typesetting.

Location
Conveniently located in the heart of Northern Arizona, and nestled amongst the beautiful Kaibab National Forest, Williams is considered the gateway to the Grand Canyon. Williams’ central location allows visitors to stay and experience Northern Arizona’s beautiful sights and activities. Bearizona is one hour south of the Grand Canyon’s South Rim, 30 minutes west of Flagstaff, and three hours southeast of Las Vegas, NV.

Climate
Depending on the time of year, visitors to Bearizona will witness an array of weather. Williams is fortunate to experience all four seasons. The temperature in the summer averages 80 degrees, while in the winter time Williams receives an average of 55 inches of snowfall. The varying seasons allow visitors unique opportunities to witness animal behavior as it changes throughout the year. Bearizona is open year-round and it is important to note that the animals at Bearizona are out and enjoy all types of weather!

Accommodations
The park can accommodate most modes of transportation, including cars and RV’s. Bearizona welcomes tour buses and as a special service to our tour bus guests, offers a step-on tour guide for no additional fee! Guests who are a little more adventuresome and want to feel the brisk high country air and un-obstructed views of our wildlife can take a ride on our Wild Ride Bus Tour which departs from the Fort Bearizona parking lot at several times throughout the day.

Bearizona is a member of the Zoological Association of America as well as the American Association of Zoo Keepers.

First pic is not accurate, but gives you idea of the park.

So...it's been awhile since I last gave an update for Bearizona. So work has slowly begun for the walking section of the park. While we been adding much needed facilities for guests and workers alike our first exhibit is up and running.

Polar Bears are the first animal to be brought to Bearizona for our walking section of our park and more animals are to come at a later date! So far the bears are feeling right at home in there new enclosure.

So... we're happy to announce that new animals and habitats have been added to Bearizona!

Starting off with the Artic Fox. We are shown that they are both feeling right at home in Bearizona.

We will be seeing new additions possibly later in the coming days.

Sorry for the major delay. It's been hard the past few months and even now for me and my family. My parents and I had Covid-19 in Nov. and that was rough for all of us. I ended up losing my mother on Nov. 20. We also lost two relatives these past months and recently. My grandmother came down to help us and she got it and has since recovered. My aunt though wasn't so lucky, she is currently on a ventilator, and is in a induced coma at a hospital. She has improved a little, but not much. On top of all that my poor dad had surgery on his arm and eventually later down the line needs work on his face removing skin cancer which will be very painful. Anyways, that pretty much sums it up.

A lot more animals have come in to make Bearizona there home. Even out of the country residents.

Here's some more of our Beavers feeling right at home in Bearizona doing what Beavers do...building dams.

One of our newest residents the European Fallow Deer is loving his new enclosure and is already an eye candy to the ladies.

We were lucky enough to get the largest of the deer family the American Moose from a American zoo.
