beef with 3.0

If you think this is apt or not its just my opinion and i feel 3.0 could have been so much better.

The whole intention of 3.0 Engineering is to make life easier and not so much RNG, and that part of it is great, we can now craft items better than "most" god rolls and it seams to work, (my previous god roll FSD can beat the new one on range by 0.03LY.. but 0.03ly is not much)

material storage .. Great thanks FD

Major beefache - we made material gathering easier, or presumably so, because we can trade materials, presumably so... well manufactured trader anyone? filtered galaxy and none in sight, the fact there is only 2 traders in the bubble and you can only pin one blue print means this is still a EDDB & INARA task to know what you want, where it is, and how to get it

why didnt we just have material traders at every single commodity trade hub.. because that would be just too darn enjoyable to play that way, instead we take something simple and make it as complicated as possible with more terms and conditions than a payday loan

Minor beef' -

if you jump to another system and held the throttle down while the 5,4,3,2,1 countdown commenced you would enter the system at 0 throttle, now removed

Dolphin heat still is not fixed, shame on you FD

Game crashes if swapping two engineered parts over in outfitting

Xbox fans run alot louder

Dark side of planets no longer exist on known locations :(

Still a whole lot of beige out here

NPC's still cant fly

WIRE FRAMEs... why o why....

sorry for being negative... fly safe.

Am i the only human who likes this game?

Not sure but the Material Traders dont show up on the galactic map when filtered , but you can find plenty of them on third party apps like INARA. Other than that I really enjoy the game thanks.

This is a big problem I have been trying to find an Encoded Mats Trader. HOW. Does not show on any of the Mapping.

You have to discover them first, then they will appear on the galaxy map when using the relevant filter. Seems kinda pointless though, it's not like it offers much gameplay value!

exactly! there is a better more enjoyable way

i still like the game dont get me wrong its just... disappointing and another pointless valueless time sync to get materials

Another thread it was said that it only shows within 40ly. I had at least one for each within 40ly of where I was so no drama.

the day we can just play the game without resorting to 3rd party tools though :(

i dont buy a cupboard from ikea and think YES OMG YES there is a 43 page instruction manual with a QR code linking to online videos i can watch of ikea staff building it... i just build the darn thing and throw the manual in the bin

It seems the map is only showing traders IF you are close to them. That is what was happening to me last night.

Also, the map seems to revert to a different filter every so often so I have to keep swapping it back to services.

I also noticed I was getting routed through brown dwarves a lot even though my star type filter has only OBAFGKM and the neutron/white dwarves marked. Maybe it was a case of no other way to get through but that is unusual in the bubble.

Could say more, but just want to question this one:

Still a whole lot of beige out here

What is wrong with a subset of planets being beige? Beige in itself is a perfectly fine color for planet surfaces!
The issue with 2.4 was that all (rocky & metal) planets were beige and I personally am very glad that FDev didn't simply switch one sort of monochromy with another.

You dont have to pay for this stuff, just be grateful that some people are prepared to put the time and effort in on your behalf to help enhance your game if you choose to use them , ingrate.

Oh dear stop eating beef while playing, try eating chicken instead. But seriously 3.0 takes many steps in the right direction as opposed to 2.4 which made me give up. Maybe the next few patches may clear some of the flaws but all in all much better Fdev.

Now i'm hungry.

As for the xbone fan those things run as hot as a toaster anyways. but just a thought you can now cook your beef on the xbox..........[smile] which i,m pretty sure was stated as a new feature in the patch notes.

The material traders do show up on the galaxy map - beyond 40LYs.
They're very close to the core worlds and there's not many of them.

There's an Encoded Trader in Ohm City, LHS 20
There's a Manufactured Trader in [the starport], Sirius

I found those without having to resort to leaving the game. Just looked around the map a bit more.
I agree however that there should be more of them

And WHY OH WHY does Jameson Memorial not have ANY mat traders? Surely all three of them should be there?

Let's rework your comment via the medium of politics.

You don't have to pay for brexit, just be grateful that some people are prepared to put the time and effort in on your behalf to help enhance your country if you chose to stay in it, Ingrate

I must admit I'm been very critical of this game since day one but even I have to say the last 6 months I've enjoyed the game more than I ever have and the new updates and path seems for me to be on completely the right track overall so props ..

I dont want to run the risk of straying off topic here , but as you set the precedent, if you are labouring under the opinion that there is no cost to Brexit then you fail to understand the basic concepts of taxation and application of tax revenue, along with the basics of economic principle and furthermore you are delusional. (and a bit odd if you can seriously equate using a third party app with the economic and social future of a nation)

no no - you made the point for me, its why i reworked your comment via the medium of politics so you could understand how silly it was.
