Bell Molluscs vanished? Codex Entry not confirmable

o7 Commanders,

im on a trip to confirm the codex page on a Region and found the Bell Molluscs are missing in all Systems all System. In case of Carpasinus Bell Mollusc they are reported in only one system "Skaudai YP-O e6-17" and this system only has 3. Are they hidden far outside the Stellar Phenomena? Are they Seasonal? Had someone exterminated them? How can we be sure that a codex entry is right if it cannot be confirmed?

I found all three types of the the Umbrella Molluscus arround Colonia. AFAIK they are just floating arround in a Phenomena ready for scanning ;-) So if the bell type has nothing special to it, I "know" how to find them.

Cool - the fact that the molluscs are so tiny seems to confuse some - on livestreams Will regularly misses them :)

Tiny? I explored the umbrella Molluscus arround colonia with a sidewinder and they where at least triple my size. I know that because my scientific curiosity told me to ram/push them arround and into other objects..so i have seen them up close. 50% hull close ;-)

Are the bell type tiny? maybe even so tiny you cannot see them with night vison?

The umbrellas are fairly large. Most of the other molluscs are more like cargo canisters. You won't be able to see them until you're right on top of them. You'll need to chase the radar blips.
