Belligerent Renegades is a conservative American PC gaming clan.

We're a group of conservative American gamers playing Elite: Dangerous, Destiny 2, and other miscellaneous games. We have a 'group of friends' atmosphere with a relaxed culture.

The Belligerent Renegades is a conservative squadron aligned with the Federation. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness: These are the ideas laid out in the constitution of the Federation's ancient predecessor, the United States of the Americas. A free and open society with limited interference from the Federal government is ultimately what we want to see. While the Imperials seek to maintain order with a non-elected monarch and a group of oligarchs with no legal oversight, the Federation offers a chance for true liberty.

We are the naval division of the Federal Constitutionalists faction. We commonly engage in trade, mining, exploration, and bounty hunting.

We play mostly in private group mode. Many of us are members of Mobius PVE.

Squadron Update:
Recruitment efforts are going smoothly. Some new members have been recruited. Many of us have been hanging out in the Mobius PVE Discord as well as our own. The fleet is growing steadily. Some members do not have a presence on Inara but are encouraged to join the Inara squadron when possible.

Efforts to establish a headquarters are proceeding:

I have personally found a few potential locations to submit to Frontier as an option. Members and squadron supporters who wish to weigh in may comment on the Discord, message me directly, or post on the Inara squadron discussion boards.

Squadron Update:
The faction application has gone through a few revisions. System residence is a fickle thing.

We've aided the Federation with the defense of the Summit from ner-do-wells. Freedom and liberty are human rights, but that does not extend to pirates, thieves, and murderers. Their actions inhibit the pursuit of liberty and happiness and therefore must be put down.

Squadron Update:
We have a faction in the Bilongo system. We've already won our initial civil war with a local independent corporation and are working to finish a war for control of the system overall.

The Core Expedition
On another front, several squadron members and friends are halfway thru an expedition to the Galactic Core. We've already discovered several Earth-likes and even a rare undiscovered Herbig Ae/Be star with a solar radius of 0.14!

The Core Expedition:
We have returned from our month-long expedition to visit the Core. We stopped by Sagitarrius A* for a bit and even have a multi-crew SLF battle with some friends from the bubble. Stopped by Colonia on the way back to level up some engineers and explore the region.

Squadron Update:
Now that the entire squadron is back in Bilongo, we are reinforcing efforts to expand the Federal Constitutionalist faction. We've made friendly overtures to a nearby squadron that occupies a neighboring system. We've also established an embassy with the LÉGION ÉTRANGÈRE squadron.

Squadron Update:
After a break from Elite following Odyssey's abysmal launch, we've returned and began trying it out. Definitely a lot of work to do, but I am hopeful. Some of us are going to be grinding the CG and Tolland for some money to prepare for the fleet carrier discounts.

After having a lengthy discussion with Minister Hobert McCormick and ranking members of the local congress, we have decided to issue a joint statement on behalf of the Federal Constitutionalists and the Belligerent Renegades squadron.

Statement of Intent

The people of Bilongo and surrounding systems are hereby issuing a formal declaration of condemnation against the administration of President Zachary Hudson and the direction of the Federation. The actions of this administration have shown flagrant disregard for the federal Constitution and the rights and liberties of its citizens. The abhorrent bait-and-switch against Yuri Grom at a diplomatic summit as well as the implementation and expansion of the illegal and invasive Proactive Detection Bureau are just a couple of the most egregious violations of civil liberties and rights by the administration.

If this behavior is allowed to continue, the Federation will become unrecognizable as a people's republic. Surveillance states are the tool of an authoritarian regime, not a constitutional republic. Authoritarianism is the enemy of the people.

We are issuing a warning to the Federation: Continue down this path, and there will be consequences. We have Pilot's Federation commanders and independents who are be willing to take direct action against an increasingly anti-liberty administration. We are prepared to take electoral, economic, and political action against Federal interests that threaten liberty. We are also calling upon any like-minded Commanders, pilots, and squadrons to take a stand against this hostile government.

Do not comply.

Squadron Update:

We are currently returning from a trip to the Orion Complex, Rosette nebula, and miscellaneous regions to the south-east of the bubble aboard the Pillar of Liberty. We are planning a long-range expedition to Beagle Point in about a week or two. This trip is likely to test our sanity as we are stuck with each-other on a fleet carrier for approximately 6 months. We've already gone a bit crazy on our short-range hop to the Orion Complex and Rosette nebula.
