Best asteroid belt types for mining engineering materials???

Hi guys, I've been steadily unlocking more and more of the engineers, have about 6 unlocked and 2 more discovered, I have ran out of most of the basic materials ie iron, sulphur and nickel, so I'm out mining and all the rocks say "material content low".

Is this regarding the engineers materials and of so, what are the best asteroid belt types I should be going to for engineering materials?

I'm currently in a pristine ring btw.

Thanks in advance.

Just because it says low doesn't mean you won't get anything out of it. I constantly go mining to refill basic materials and make profit at the same time.
I get all the basic materials from pristine metallic rings.

Kool, I just wanted to check, I do get the materials I want just thought that there might be a differentry type of belt that would give me more,

Thanks m8 you've confirmed that what I'm doing is right :)

I'm sure materials are better in other types of belts but quite frankly the profits are better in pristine metallic and I still get iron sulphur carbon manganese and nickel. Usually mining about 350t gives me 40 to 60 of each material.

I'm still having trouble finding more arsenic, I know it's supposed to rare and all that, but...pity there's no pharmacies in ED, I could just pop down and buy some :(

found some Pristine near jaques no, not in the same system.

It's better to get engineering mats from planet surfaces because you can use the wave scanner as a filter e.g. if you need arsenic, you know you need to look for mesoderites or metallic meteors

With mining it's pot luck as far as I can see, ice rings contain the same random drops as metallic and metal rich
