Best beginner mining ships 3.3

One more confirmation: i fired probes at a pristine ring and it returned no hotspots whatsoever...none. I went in anyway and found 4 cores within an hour (then i had to end my gaming session).
I had previously visited a different planet/ring wich showed a tons of hotspots when interrogated by a probe, and i could not find any cores in those hotspots at all (well, not ALL the hotspots of course, only the couple ones I tried).
Of course this could be a bug and not how it was intended.

Including all the old bugs. Plus some new bugs that are effectively huge nerfs to the old mining, such as prospectors expiring when your ship is moving above a crawl.

The point of the limpets was so that you didn't have to move to pick up all the debris. Stay still. Let the limpets do their job. They have ~2km range. If you are moving and staying close to increase your cr/hr then you're making a mistake with your tactics, an error that is made clear to you by the blowing up of those limpets. If you stay still you get more per hour. So stay still.

You need to test this on multiple systems. The standard deviation of a sample set is divided by the sample size minus one. So a single datapoint has infinite error bars. Two have 100% error bars. After that you can start to base your assessment on the statistics. You wont have to do ~1000 like you would if you were doing population statistics for a large population, such as all citizens in your country, but you do need more than 30 to have any form of analysis. At 30, the chance of it being 100% just your luck is about 17%.

Noted Pirates already have stated that theyre best tactic is to wait for miners at top buying stations. So it might not be that much of a difference hot spot or no hot spot. Still it would be a bigger let down if probing rings would just be fancy nonsense.

edit:
seems this has gone way off-topic?

I think the ASP-Explorer is THE best starter mining ship. Hardpoint allocation for multiple abrasion blasters is just perfect. It could do with just one more internal slot, but well, it's good enough for the job.
