General / Off-Topic best building/construction sim games out there?

So aside from planet coaster, what other construction type games do people play and/or are the best out there?

Ive been away from pc gaming for a long time. So far ive heard of PC (obviously), cities skyline which looks good and another roller coaster sim called no limits 2.

Doesnt seem to be a modern take on railroad tycoon out there. Anything else to consider?

Those are not per say building games, but simulation games.

I honestly loved an obscure game called Holiday Island released somewhere mid 90's. It was a tycoon type of game with holiday theme and it was well done for that time. I really miss playing as it's become so old, the only way to play it now is via Virtual Computer and I'm not even going to try that with my lack of pc knowledge.

well yeah there are lodes some are bad some are good some are meh so i thought i would do 3 lists of all the tycoon style games i can think of New and old:

The good:
RCT 1,2 OR 3
Theme Park
Theme Hospital
Rail rode Tycoon 2
City Skylines
Plant Coaster (obviously)
Zoo Tycoon 2 (i have herd good things about this one)
Parktech
Sim city 2000
Sim tower
Meh:
(dissclamer thse are by no means bad games)
Theme park world
Zoo Tycoon
Sims 4 (this is only on the list as they put a BIG emphasis on building)
Tiny tower (good but Sim tower was better)

Bad:
Sim city (the New one)
RCT World
TransOcean 2: Rivals (I have herd bad things)
Airport Tycoon (all incarnations)

There are lot's more bit thats all i can thunk off of the top of my head.

A few good builders I'd recommend having a look at:

Sid Meier's Railroads (although you have to mess about to get it to run reliably on more modern systems)
Factorio
Prison Architect
Planetbase
Tropico
Kerbal Space Program

Edit: I think Software inc is worth a mention as well, it a decent game!
