Best / Fastest way to get allied with Sirius corp. ?

Selling exploration data at a station controlled by Sirius works too. Many explorers got the Sirius permit (and other Indie system permits) long before it became fashionable with Engineers.

If this is true. You will have saved me a lot of bother!!!

I am on the homeward leg of a circumnavigation of the galaxy and should be back in the bubble in about 5 or 6 weeks.

Assuming I don't do something stupid, I will be back with around 80M in exploration data...
Is there any way to unlock Professor Palin? I heard that has something to do with the Sirius permit.

see this thread: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...-Engineers-A-Guide-for-the-Returning-Explorer on how to use exploration data for everyhing engineering.

I've just got my invite to Marco Qwent and kept a rough tally of what it took to get there. Four million credits worth of bounty hunting and missions got me both Allied with Sirius Corporation and a Sirius Permit and another million got me the Engineer invite. Now I just need the Modular Terminals.

While bounty hunting at the Avik Nav Beacon I was careful not to destroy any wanted Sirius Corporation ships. I assumed that doing so would hurt my reputation with them, even if they are wanted criminals in the system.

I got allied with Sirius Corp yesterday, mostly by bountyhunting at the avik nav beacon. The permit mission spawned immediatly after i got allied at bruce prospect in avik.
It sure was a fun way to grind the rep, especially when i had some ENG cargo on me. Couldn't kill the pirates as fast as new ships spawned and scanned me.
I killed every wanted ship even those from Sirius corp, and got allied at 4-5 mil bounties.

Personally i get allied with Sirius in Avik; near outpost you get a lot of spawns with Weapons fire detected lvl4. Kill the anacondas, get back the outpost with bounty. The only problem for me was the outpost doesn't have repair facility and i need this for FAS.

I'm in a fully A grade and modded Imperial Clipper and I can only take down 1 of the anacondas before having to flee. Did you get all 3 Anaconda kills before you turned in the bounties? With the new AI buff in 2.2, killing all 3 seems impossible. Granted, I'm "Deadly" ranked w/about 10% to go for Elite and still only get 1 before turning tail. Thanks CMDR!!!!

I finished this two days ago and it took me 3 or 4 hours to go from neutral to allied.

Missions were too slow so I pulled out my cutter and traded from founders to proeyon. The problem was I had to keep switching commodities as it would drop from 1.6 Million demand to nothing within a trip or two. I'm not sure who was delivering 1.6 Million tons of something in a 10 to 15 minute window but it was impressive.

I had to switch a few times as a 2k per ton profit suddenly turned into a -75 per ton loss but it was easy to switch to something else in demand.

Basically at Proeyon I'd photograph the commodity market and shoot off to Founders to fill up on what they wanted. The profit via founders was MUCH higher and worth the extra jumps compared to closer places.

Easiest way I found was to drop a data bomb on it of a few million, worked best if doing the 5k for palin. Got me to friendly that way, then bounty hunt for about 5 mill or so to get allied worked for me afterwards at a nav beacon. This was from me being dead hostile from robigo to so it wasnt that bad at least.

Do you mean Procyon?

i tried bounty hunting in Avik nav point....i returned with something like 8million in bounty for Sirius Corp but my reputation gain was minimal....i was friendly b4 the whole bounty hunting and still friendly after i cashed in....is that normal?

is that my best option?....i don;t feel like going out for another exploration trip to be honest and i thought that bounty hunting would be sufficient...guess i was wrong.

Get down to Ceos and Sothis to do the data missions. You get Federation rep as well as Sirius, plus you make about 5 million an hour.

Hmmm! Just spent 45 mins getting to Sothis only to find none of the stations there or Ceos are giving out any missions. Been here and hour and a half now, flipping between stations and game modes and all I got is a couple of seek and return missions for stuff that can only be bought in the bubble. Probably would have been allied by now if I just farmed around Procyon.
