Best sound settings?

So I decided to buy and heavily upgrade an Eagle. Stuck some multi cannons and a rail gun onboard and went off to blast wanted criminals. As we all know the sounds are amazing in this game, however, I have always been underwhelmed by the weapon sounds (too light)

We'll I just noticed in the rift, if I turn around and look at the top weapon mount, the sound when you fire is much more heavy with lots of Bass. That makes perfect sense since I am facing the weapon, however I would love that sound when I am looking forwards.

Anybody know what I need to change in the settings? I use 5.1 surround & also have headphones.

If you are using a 5.1 system like a home theater you need to use rift speaker setting so the sound doesn't change when you turn around and config your speakers in the home theater setting to give more volume to the rear speakers.
