Awesome.
Planetary landing should be a visual wonderment when implemented.
Hopefully we will also be able to land on water.
Love the way details on the surface become more apparent as you closed in on this one.
Is it proof of FD future implementation of planetary landings? I hope so.

I love threads like these! I am brand new to the Elite series but not new to the space sim genre. I am in love with this game! I don't think that Elite will look quite as nice as Space Engine. Elite however is actually meant to be played. It is very immersive and there is a ton of stuff to do. You really feel like you could be a space explorer. Space Engine is awesome, don't get me wrong, it just doesn't come close to feeling like a game vs just a computer program. Anyway, keep the awesome screenshots coming!
