Best way to listen to audiobook in VR?

Just curious as to the best way, I guess I could find the file from the audible app (on my phone) and run it in media player, but then I'd have to remove the headset and alt/tab to stop/pause etc... So what's the preferred way?

Will voiceattack work if the mediaplayer isn't the active window. Have to admit I haven't used voiceattack in a while but afaik it can only issue commands to your active window (usually the game). Or does it have some new built-in media functionality I never knew about?

You can set it up to use the keyboards media keys that should work even when out of focus.

works fine with both Spotify and VLC. Half the reason I'm voice attack these days.

If im playing solo, which is most of the time, i to use speakers rather than headphones for game audio, then i just put my phone down next to my hotas, put in one headphone and use the button on the cord for play/pause, or just use speaker since no one will be interrupting so i wont have any need to pause unless im taking a break from playing and then the HMD comes off anyway.
