best way to now get allied with Sirius corp ?

Just working at getting he permit and its taking forever!

They are no longer the controlling faction in Avik (though many websites still state they are) so I take it that means I can't dump exploration data or rack up bounties in the system in order to get allied?

I can do missions for them but not much is spawning. I'm literally getting 1 mission each time I get back to the station.

Are there any other known stations where Sirius Corp is still the controlling faction?
Any other ways to do it other than the glacial pace I'm currently working at?

thanks!

Or HIP errr... Something. Lol

....HIP 8396.!

Sirius Corp controlled system with RES sites. :)

Bit of a trek, but you'll be allied in no time.

I did it at Ceos / Sothis back when the long range missions were profitable... so it kind of happened by accident.

Do your Sirius 'missions' out of Ashby City (Luyten's Star), it's closer to the main star for hand ins. When Allied, go to Davy Dock for the permit mission, then finally to Sirius to the station called paradise something to get the engineer unlock.

Then you'll need to grind modular terminals, just go anywhere you're allied with a fair few factions for that, because there's nothing worse than going through the mission board for the 1 or 2 missions that give MTs and find that that you can't accept them!! :)

Well, HIP 8396 doesn't have a shipyard, and the nearest yard is IIRC something like 80 ly away, so you have to fly out there in your combat ship.

Other possibility: somehow, I got to cordial in Procyon (not sure how). Then went to http://edtools.ddns.net/expl.php , set Procyon as start point and minimum distance and numbers, did the first 21 systems, returned to Procyon and sold the exploration data. 14 MCr., that got me allied.

Now those Modular Terminals, though....

There are a few good ship choices with long range and combat capable.
Asp isn't too bad in combat. Python is better, but lower ranged. Anaconda obviously.
But if you're in a small ship, then almost any can jump a reasonably good distance.
I don't recall where the nearest shipyard is, I never needed it.

As for MTs. The trick is, to convince yourself and the universe you don't need them.
Then, and only then, will you see then as mission rewards. :p

It's also good to check on the forums. I had 16~ the other day, but no one responded to my offer, so I dumped them.

Hauler. Strip it down to nothing but D-rate modules + A-rated FSD, and an ADS/DSS, along with the biggest fuel scoop you can get.

Now, Google "Elite Dangerous Road to Riches". Follow the route.

Make about 10 million in data. Go to Procyon's Davy Dock. Sell data.

Boom. You are now allied with Sirius.
