Weird thing is, I get a blip of a great speed - 26MBPS for example, then it immediately goes to the 0, 0.03, 0, 0.03 pattern for a bit.

Hey ho. Patience and all that.....

I'm in. Got a shiny new Sidewinder, with two pulse lasers and 1000credits. Feels faster and more maneuverable than I remember. Could be just me though.

That would be the insane frame rate increase, mate. Azeban whooshed by like greased lightning. I love the optimization!

Hey guys, has anyone getting a:

Update failed for file
D:\Games\Frontier\EDLaunch\Products\FORC-FDEV-D-1002\Win32\Items\StellarResources\Artist_Asteroids\Data.ovl (validation error)

i've tried deleting the file and continueing the update but get this error straight away... any ideas?

Game fails to communicate with authentication server.
BUMMER.
Have to try again later, I guess the servers are 'somewhat busy' right now.

So I started reading the changes.
A quarter hour later I was somewhere in the second post and I thought to myself, "how much more is there??". After scrolling down I decided that:
a) there would be no way I was going to read ALL OF THAT
b) frontier did a lot of work and a good job with this update
