Patch Notes Update Beta 2.02 incoming

while i was playing ok with 2.01 (although i got random disconnections)
now i updated to 2.02 and the game stucks in the first 2-3 seconds after the main menu appears... the mouse doesnt move , i can hear the music but the game is frozen . i must alt ctrl del it


EDIT: i just saw other posters have the same issue... well, 3rd time is a charm (2.03!!)

I've got the same as some posters above. Freeze on the menu screen, start is red and the server is reporting as [unconnected]. Have to kill it with task manager.

OK well, I am not magical, I was not to know that as you didn't make any mention of it.

Stop the download and restart it.

Not a particularly fun day for the fellas at Frontier. I sincerely sympathize and my heart goes out to you guys.

I'm having the same issues as others with freezing at the main menu. But before the patch rolled out, I did finally get in game and got to enjoy a brief ~5 minutes of it. Incredible work with the new holographic style interface, station menu, new sounds, etc. Consistently loving what's there when I can play.

Edit: Oh yeah, I was flying to an orbital landing platform somewhere next to a planet, and I noticed something enter the atmosphere and light up as it trailed down to the surface (falling star-esque). Awesome.

I'm getting the same thing, I'll just have to wait until tomorrow to play
