what is "unknown artefact interference" is all over the menu cant access mission,passenger, and a third one. and also outfitting is it due to client interference or is it an unknown artefact?? in the area

Just upgraded to Elite: Dangerous 2.2 (Beta 3) and the main main is telling me:

Connection Status: Your client is too old. Please upgrade to the latest version of Elite Dangerous.

The same for 1.7 64 Bit client.

Although I got in I had a crash to desktop and am back in but no Start or Friends & Private Groups - Can't Connect to Frontier Servers

OK that message, back to the Main Menu and look..... My client is now too old, please upgrade.

They're certainly patching the servers very quickly tonight!

Funny thing... I tried the new training mission while waiting for client to not being so old, and it's like I don´t have Horizons. Fighter deployment scenario won't show the middle deploy sceen, and SRV training says "You need Horizons to land on this planet", so I'm stuck in orbit.

Maybe related somehow?

I think the training missions are bugged, too. The lower panel where the fighter access should show isn't there, as you say. But it's also not there on other ships in the other missions either. I've posted a bug report on it. It's clear that they have updated the training missions, they just have some issues.

I've got a current client, just keeps crashing at the load screen. Beginning to wonder if I've hit that point where the game won't be playable anymore without some system upgrades. Works great in 2.1

Interestingly the latest update is only 10.3GB / 16,968 files and the previous update was 13GB / 18,132 files.
