i have the beta v2.2. update 3 when it gets to loading into an instance its shows loading game for about 2 seconds then rashes back to the desktop .... anyone else having that happen it doesnt seem to matter what instance i try solo open my own group same result

Really? I haven't noticed an enormous difference, and I'm on a very low-end machine so typically among the first to go under

I've seen occasional stutters but nothing crazy. Some things - such as dropping out of orbital cruise - are faster, though that might just be down to the lesser load on the Beta match-making servers.

Conversely, the discovery honking in beta is back to its worst, honk and then wait 10 seconds for the scanner to notice that big huge star in front of you.

For me it's faster in VR than before, but I am also on the low end for VR, with a geforce 970.

Well I play in VR and actually thought it was better performance. Certainly not worse anyway...

Should be in the original patchnote, however if i remember correctly: keelback, federal gunship, T9, Anaconda, Beluga, Corvette and Cutter

I guess that makes sense. If two weeks Beta ends on the 4th, there's not much incentive in launching before then. Any sooner, and some will complain about not fixing enough during the Beta; yet they're still ahead of the mid-October schedule.

IMO though, this Beta is far less buggy/more stable than the 2.0 Betas, and possibly the 2.1 as well. I don't know if that's just my experience, or true for most.

Well its still borked so can't do anything. Don't want to try wiping my save as if it does fix it - how the heck am I supposed to beta test anything worth a dingly dangle if I'm going to start out with zip?.. Also - I've seen reports of people forcing it to redo the shaders? (mine seems to skip this bit so perhaps thats a possible fix) - how do I do this?

You could do like I'm doing and test what you can with what you have. I cleared my save around the beginning of the month so my beta save started in a Sidewinder with about 99,000 credits. I made enough extra to purchase a DBS. I'll test out what I can but I realize I can't test the new features very well.

BTW: since "credits" are always the default future currency, can we get a symbol for it? Maybe this? ¢

That happened to me once with 2.1. I exited the game and relaunched and my bookmarks were all back.
