Managed to get some time with 3.02. Picked up where the game last crashed after arriving in Bolg, flew to Moxon's Mojo, things seemed to be going OK. Got docking permission but when I got to the landing pad couldn't dock (no matter how close I was to the pad the sensor didn't change to show my ship's alignment) and touching down did nothing. Was certainly the right pad as all others gave a warning. Left station and thought I'd check if the galaxy map worked, but no, still crash to desktop on galaxy map for me.

Ho hum. Hopefully when I next play there'll be a patch to fix my woes. Looking forward to getting back in the cockpit!

my stuttering in sc seems much reduced and im able to connect faster too even with my daughters boyfriend and my wife both playing SWTOR on the same connection as i play a real space game! woot F.D. you have done it again you rock like diamonds!

This is one of the most devoted and hard working dev group i have seen in a long time in my career of testing alpha's and beta's. You guys are amazing, and i truly love this game. Keep up the good work.

Aaaand, 3.03? Its upgrading again :D

*edit*

Ignore that, must have been a brain fart of the client. Its still 3.02.

Its an update to fix missions supposedly but from responses to the thread, it don't work and has even made people who did not have mission issues not be able to accept any now.

Game very jittery and laggy around spaceports or when lots of players are around. Behaves like server lag. Not my graphics settings. I'm running GTX670s in SLI and even reducing to 1920x1200 with no AA doesn't fix the issue.

Also, once docked, it often refuses to go down the lift, or when launching, refuses to go back up. Have to quite... and occasionally even that doesn't work, and I have to kill the client via task manager.

That's the gist i got from it too, i just hope they dont leave it like that overnight and at least revert it back to 3.01.

Game Very Jittery and Lagging tonight....been kicked out lots of times this evening......becoming unplayable......Also when I log back in after a break... my ships fuel level seems to get replenished...... known bug or not?

I have had my fuel topped up after a save and quit too, makes up for having to save and quit each time I have to reset my power distribution and boost buttons, which is quite often :(

This is not a bug. It is SBS standard. SBS is not developed for VR gogles but for 3D TV.

I created ticket to frontier to create another VR-SBS view with correct aspect ratio.

For me, the aspect ratio bug when using 3D side-by-side is still present. Basically, everything is extremely distorted. Or at least it is when using Google Cardboard.

As I understand it, the problem is that the viewport aspect ratio is taken from the full resolution, where it should be per eye instead. So for example, if you're running in 1600x900, the aspect ratio is 16:9. And if you use 3D SBS, the aspect ratio is currently still 16:9. But since the view is divided down the middle for each eye, the aspect ratio should be halved on the horizontal axis to 8:9.

At least that is my theory.

Can anybody actually make 3D SBS view work without distortion?

Yes.
Here is workaround:
