Known Issues Thread
ATTENTION: We are aware of issues with missions such as errors when attempting to pick them up and missions disappearing from your transactions panel after hyperspacing/supercruising to a new area. We are investigating this and need no further information on these two issues at this time. Thank you for your patience.
PLEASE NOTE: If you're experiencing an issue that is already on the list below, you do not need to submit a ticket for it. Please consult this list before creating a new ticket.
We're no longer allowing tools which scrape the data directly from the game or through its communications. We will be considering an external API for future development, but for now these tools are not permitted.
We are experiencing an incredibly high volume of tickets coming into our system at this time. We are working through them as quickly and efficiently as possible and ask for your continued patience as we get back to you all as soon as we can. Please also ensure you're setting your ticket to the correct category so we can prioritise issues accordingly by severity.

Crash/Freeze
Game sometimes crashes after space station disappears
Game known to crash when exiting supercruise or hyperspace
Issues with running the game on full screen using some Nvidia mobile cards
Game can become unresponsive when running full screen on multi monitors
Gameplay
Missions disappearing from transaction panel after entering a new area
Transaction Error appearing when attempting to pick up a new mission
Selling cartographic data for 0 credits can temporarily display your credit balance as 0
Upgrading Frameshift Drive causes you to be permanently mass-locked until you restart game
When purchasing a cheaper ship the transaction can halt with 'Server Denied Request' error
Game can respond incorrectly or not at all if you are subject to the galaxy map projection bug
Supercruise can sometimes have you drop out at incorrect location
Exploration data not saved between sessions/system visits
Landing pads will sometimes be rotated incorrectly causing issues when docking
Oculus Rift suffers camera placement issues when in System View
Factions at Federal Distress scenarios can be reversed
Selling your shield generator will sometimes prevent you from buying another, or buying back your old one.
FPS/Performance
Targeting another star system before undocking from station will cause a large drop in frame rate.
When exiting Supercruise the game can hang with the screen shaking for around 30 seconds
Drops in frame-rate when supercruising near gas giants
Performance can drop when firing multiple multi-cannons
Connectivity/Networking
Player will sometimes load in to an already occupied landing pad, causing the ship to be destroyed
Issues with disconnecting during loading and session transitions
Interface/HUD
'Sell All' button when selling gathered data sometimes doesn't work
'Repair All' option sometimes does not work
Supercruise ETA timer displays as > 1Y after being interdicted
Money acquired through trading does not appear in Stats screen
Graphical
The galaxy itself can be projected onto the backdrop/skybox
Nvidia 500 series cards have lighting issues for structures & celestial bodies
Outposts labelled as starports in hangars
Cockpit chair clipping when in free head look mode
Other
Oculus Rift 'Direct HMD Access from Apps' Mode not currently supported:
Will cause crashes upon exiting the game
Will prevent you from running the game in fullscreen (even if Oculus is not in use)
Will cause stuttering while in-game
'Unexpected response from server:BadRequest' when trying to log into the launcher - To fix: Make sure you have updated to the latest version of the launcher

Audio
3D/Head Tracking
Either kill your target quicker, wait until someone else has done all the hard work, or kill those who would "steal" your bounty. All have consequences - that is part of the beauty of Elite.
The small Fighters no longer have 100000 tonne fuel tanks, meaning they should no longer destroy anacondas and other big ships on impact!

I don't play with my food good sir, what so you mean by kill it quicker? Get upgrades?.... Wait for someone else to do all the hard work hmm, you sir will never date my sister, being British i consider myself a good sporting chap... Abd the last one, kill a fellow bounty hunter??? I'd never date your sister on principle of her being a good sporting chap. Killing bounty hunters? Not a problem for me - I carry no bounty, and if they fire upon me then that puts them in an awkward situation Sir.
There is no such thing as a fair system Sir, there never was and never will be, and scribbles are not my area of expertise. I'll happily assume they are your main arena of study as you brought them up first., quite outside my knowledge.
I do still, and will always, disagree with you, in a friendly manner of course. But tagging any person as a filthy animal, Sir - that is inexcusable. May the tentacles of a thousand Thargoids infest your orifices for years beyond count of millennia.
