How many of you are fed up of spending minutes trying to travel to within 1mm of a low wake you consider critical to reach quickly only to find it vanishes or the person you may be trying to render aid to there has long since when *BOOM*. It's a tedious affair.
I think I may have touched upon this previously, but when one Nav Locks a wingman they benefit from hugely increased drop distances! Why is this not the default mechanic where low wakes are concerned? There's clearly an algorithm involved since the distances always tend to fluctuate even with a wingman Nav Lock drop.
The current system needs to change because the low wakes are the most tedious means of reaching a person in need of aid who doesn't happen to be in your wing. Especially so when the wake expires.
Different question too. Does Squadrons add any added benefit for members, such as Nav Lock drop capability and non assault charges where crossfire is concerned?
