Better CG rewards needed. Give us High Cap. Gauss Cannons pls.

Dear FD, the latest CGs are really pushing people to fight Targoids and overal the CGs are good, personaly I like them!
But ssking for guardian artifacts for 3 times is a bit too much, pls dont overdo it like this...
Regarding combat CGs, It gives more room for a new players and that is really good, people getting in to it and injoy it.

But instead of giving up some items that players can get without this CG (modded hammer gauss i mean) it is MUCH better to give something NEW you know?
For exaple, same old gauss with higher ammo cap! Let it be heavy, ok, but let people have more FUN fights with LESS synthesis!
Hammer Gauss it self is a problem already as it gives too little advantage to counter its disadvantage. Some people like it, yes and I do too, but they are less effective.

Please FD's, give us more enique staff that fun to earn and practical in use.
 
please FD stop giving out unique modules for CGs.

the joy of community goals is the community getting together behind a common goal, not some module to get - there are other gameloops for that kind of play.

also do not give out very high credit rewards via CR - there are other gameloops that earn money.

You can injoy other gameloop, no problem.
Just like others can injoy this gameloop and get rewarded for there time and effort in addition to common activity together.
But yea, all CG modules should be on open market sooner or later so even if u miss them during CGs, u could get them later with tech brokers.
Like v1 FSDs.
Then everyone wins I think.
 
Hoping in vain to equip my Krait with G Gauss Cannons in some CG, even if I have to spend hours fishing upside-down. Just don't make me run the ruins competing with the clock and sentinels two times in a row!!1
Btw with AX MCs I barely manage to enter 100% in a CG, making a total contribution less than a million :ROFLMAO:
 
Think I will use this week to build up my bonds for next CG instead.
trying to work out if its just Quicker to go to Guardain sites Via FC and just get the mats needed... But it means using the SRVs...
So no SRV usage will balance it greatly in favour of Thargoid combat instead...
 
With all that Guardian stuff collected they should be able to drop that silly synthesis of AX ammo. Let players restock this at stations, too.

Am able to answer this now...
Due to knowing exactly which planet to collect Guardian blueprints from, it currently way quicker to use my FC and SRV to get these weapons...
Its way way more "Dull" and boring doing the loops in SRV but time wise less effort due to the FC...

FWIW, I went to collect 6 blueprints to unlock 4 different plasma launchers. Urged on by my squad I actually visited 6 different sites which made a much nicer experience than relogging at a single one. What really made it more fun was to charge the pylons on foot with a plasma rifle, though I had to use the SRV to get the relic, activate and scan the terminal.

Also my maverick with extra jump was great for spotting the pylons from high up.

The canonn edmc plugin was great for finding the next blueprint site to visit.
 
This might be foreshadowing a bit, but if this is a current goal to wipe out Thargoids, why are shard cannons needed at that point? (the current reward).
Logic tells me that if the goal is to wipe out 'goids and a weapon has been built to wipe them out in (evil Palpatine voice) in this event, the event is either doomed to fail, or these cannons will be utilized for another purpose.
They have uses VS Human ships as secondary weapon on ship... The Speed of the projectiles on Salvation shot guns is Over 6km per second...
The normal shot gun is only ~600ms... It will offer another choice...
Extra =With the Plasma chargers that speed increase of projectiles turns them into absolute rail guns not thermal rails...

Not saying it'll work, but that's not really a logical problem. We need the AX weapons now to defend the Proteus Wave until it's ready to fire (if you're fighting on Salvation's side).
 
Regardless of plot holes, giving out readily available AX weapons as rewards for an AX CG is a bit underwhelming - anyone contributing enough to get the top rewards will likely already have them, rather than to new pilots taking up the cause.

What would really be good is if Salvation's megaships would start offering AX missions. Prolonged AX fighting takes its toll on materials and the thargoid ships provide nothing useful when defeated... the exquisite focus crystals and biotech conductors from missions come in very handy for replenishing heatsinks and guardian ammo.

Nothing wrong with those module rewards, they just need to become consistently available via tech brokers faster, so eventually everyone can get them. Too many that were given out months ago are still exclusive. The Cobra IV should have already taught everyone how bad forever exclusive game assets are.
