Bought a Lenovo explorer on march 2018. The hinge that keeps the visor and the headband together broke with normal use on november because the plastic that holds the metal hinges is frail and low quality.
still within 1 year factory warranty, they took it for repair and then told me they would proceed with repairs only if I paid the repair bill which costs more than a new unit.
They actually try to scam people discouraging them with pay to call support hotlines, no mail addresses, and confusing clauses in warranty policies which they renew every year.
Since I do not want to waste time with them, my only option was to renounce to my right to have it repaired and report my bad experience so that people will boycott them.
Hope it helps people who are researching for vr headsets. Goin' back to my duct tape.
