I was able to get in first thing after the update. Launched, scanned the system I was in, went to turn in, server crashed. Unable to get in since. None of my squadmates have been able to get in since about half an hour after the update finished. Start is grayed, can't get in. Start is enabled, ship wireframe spins a bit, then get the error connecting to the server.

This update is going as smooth as expected. Maybe tomorrow. Meanwhile, I think X4: Foundations is calling... yup I can hear the servers humming from here... Later Daze!

Yep, if I do get in, the ship can never enter supercruise... Just get the blue crackly shimmer until it gives up with a connection lost error.

Marvellous.

Good to see that FD are maintaining the Launch Day tradition.

Would never be the same without it:)

UPDATE: Someone broke into the server room to steal copper wiring, security is chasing him around the building but he is fending them off wielding a broken muffler like it's Excalibur. May be a bit before the situation is under control.

seems that something can not be written
when i am in i fly to the station drop out and boom in the bleu tunnel
CHMODD that would be the faillure of the century

could also be a overload since there are normally not more then a handfull people playing since they changed the game 2 years ago
now everyone is downloading to see what the new features are
so instead of 20 people online they have now 10.000 online[big grin][big grin]
and they have only 2 servers left:D

Now don't:

Leave normal space
Jump to a system
Change instance
Leave supercruise if you somehow make it there.

All these will yield further adjudication errors.
