Maybe if they wore more plunging necklines.... mount the camera a little higher, you know?Maybe they should add a twirking animation then, for the kids

HUD, space dust, velocity lines, stars.TBF, I cannot think of a worse game to watch on Twitch than ED.
Like, ED is genuinely boring if you are not the one playing.
I can only take so many science lectures to make up for it.
The only time I have ever enjoyed watching ED was big PvP battles.
Exactly. I am not saying it's bad to actually play yourself, because it is quite fun.HUD, space dust, velocity lines, stars.
Doodleoo Do Doodleoo, Doodleoo Do Doodleoo Do Doodleoo
lol - riveting twitch stream right there.
Lol, you have it backwards. Without those guides the amount of complaints about the grind would increase drastically.Good.
Hopefully that will mean less relogging, farming and 'fastest way to...' guides, and therefore far less complaints from followers of these guides about the self-inflicted grind
LOL I never understood people donating to people doing nothing but playing a video game. Please, don't try to dress it up as "content creation", anyone. They should re-design the HUD to make more room for a big animated tip jar
fdev please
for the kids
always depends on the Streamer. To be fair watching ED stream is as entertaining as watching paint dry.
They did. They should re-design the HUD to make more room for a big animated tip jar

I've noticed that more than a few streamers who made their names streaming Elite have moved on or seriously cut back on Elite. This is not good.
MalForTheWin now actually works for Twitch, hasn't streamed anything for 24 days, and his last stream was Elite Dangerous.MalForTheWin, Neotantrix, Psych, Bognogus (he dropped in for the hype, promptly left after Odd. release), are the ones that stand out.
I've never heard of Neotantrix, and seeing as their channel has an average viewercount of only 25 I doubt many others have either.So... Doomed?
Psyche has always played many games, and still plays Elite.
Bog currently alternates between Elite and SC, with EDO having brought him back. His next stream tomorrow is ... EDO. His last was SC, the one before was EDO.
This place.
Answer = noBig Elite Streamers Giving Up On Streaming Elite?
Some of the SoT streamers are fun to watch.Does anyone give half-a-dime on streamers?
I mean watching someone playing a game? Is that even something that can be called content creation?
Why should i be wasting my precious time when i can spend that time to actually play the game myself.
I'm extremely lucky to have gone to school before the internet really caught on.Maybe they should add a twirking animation then, for the kids
Actually you made my point that big name streamers are leaving Elite.MalForTheWin now actually works for Twitch, hasn't streamed anything for 24 days, and his last stream was Elite Dangerous.
Psyche is a variety streamer, and streamed Elite Dangerous only two streams ago.
Bognogus is also a variety streamer:
I've never heard of Neotantrix, and seeing as their channel has an average viewercount of only 25 I doubt many others have either.

Considering how easy it is to check the streaming profiles/histories of the channels you mentioned, your thread is impressively - and hilariously - poorly researched.

Actually you made my point that big name streamers are leaving Elite.
You never checked the dates of their last Elite streams.
The new saying, "It's as boring as watching a stream of someone traveling in an Apex in Odyssey."To be fair watching ED stream is as entertaining as watching paint dry.
Well if the streamer is any good, it will be like a talkative cabbie. The new saying, "It's as boring as watching a stream of someone traveling in an Apex in Odyssey."
(I actually like the Apex for some missions, but I can't imagine watching that in a stream.)
