Big Elite Streamers Giving Up On Streaming Elite?

Sorry, you claimed that none of the content creators are saying anything positive about the game, and to back this up you mention Google? Am I to take it you are deciding on what the content creators are saying without actually having seen it?
Yes...google shows me what I will see by "elite dangerous" request. And all that I see there "all bad". And SC.

....so, what is next by forum rules? I should say u white-knight streamers?
Because situation is no different. Everybody eat FDevs, but don't allow even try to eat streamers....

Thus you are judging something based on complete ignorance of what you are discussing. Basically you're the poisoned water you were discussing earlier.

Again, I'm sorry but you'll have to rephrase that as it makes no sense in English.

i am utterly confused right now

So Hawkes Gaming say he doesn't want to play elite anymore. Not just cover it.
And D2EA commented (pinned comment) that making guides for Odyssey is not a profitable endeavour either (as Hawkes also mention). Apparently, there is little demand for such guides, but there is some for "bashing" the dlc (according to Hawkes). He didn't feel like bashing a game he used to love so much, so he'd rather move on.

So, you have a reason. It's not worth it. And some of them don't want to play anymore, at least enough to make proper content.

I'm sure plenty of people will find a way to spin that into a positive thing, however.
I watched the entire clip and it had me in two minds. On one hand, I found the whiny tone of it a bit much (unless that's how he usually talks? I don't follow his channel), and a lot seems to have stemmed from him grinding those mats that were bugged for a while (still are? no idea as I gave up on that entire game loop myself, life is too short and the payoff in-game is certainly not worth it). Poor life choices I'd call that perhaps.

But at the same time, I do share similar sentiments on a more general level with EDO - perhaps not to the extent that I'd stop playing completely, and I don't have a commercial angle in doing so either, however my motivation to boot up Elite (even just Horizons) has fallen off a cliff in recent days, and it's not hooking me anymore once I'm in, i.e. I can log off within half an hour where prior sessions wouldn't conclude after several hours at best and I'd have to force myself off it. Main culprits are performance/visual glitches (mah immurshon suffers) and the ring-fenced EDO gameplay loops that have zero impact on the ship stuff.

The former might be addressed over time, but the latter.... some posters suggest FDev might turn this around and bring in additions over the coming years (years!), I rather think FDev will spend those years trying to fix the game (remember how the last patch fix season went?) - with a real possibility that they might just drop it like a hot potato eventually especially if the consoles launch will be a similar disaster as the PC one. Which then feeds back in my mind where I ask myself "if this is what we're realistically left with, why bother putting more time in it".

Because I'm seriously running out of self-defined goals to do, I really need FDev to add some new ones for me but I can't currently see it. CGs bore me to tears and they're the same old grindfests for no real in-game change, so what's left? Repeat the same game loops that I've repeated over the last 4,000 hours? Game needs a bit more than confined FPS/stealth arenas bolted on to it in my book.

So..i'm not "subbed" (no bell clicked) for any streamer, what I do

"elite dangerous"
1st result-streamer - click - all bad, today we will try SC, my promo...
2nd result-stream - click - all bad, my armstrong moment in sc, my promo ..
....
Nth streamer - link/shot above - shows outdated things.

Forums: "all bad, check that videos, that streamer said we all go sc...."

So what I see here:
1. everybody listen what streamers say - different ones. and follow their advices,
2. streamers all do/say like copy-pastes of each other that "all is bad".
3. at least 1 streamer lied.
4. I don't see on forums links to positive changes which I see in-game by my eye
5. I don't see in google result links to positive changes.
6. when I try to post some positive on forum I'm blamed that i'm bad white knight

Now, 1st my post of my concludes (3-4 pages before) had tag /tin foil (just in case).
From all that I see I may assume streamers are paid by 3rd person, because:
a). they say all the same
b) they say only (or mostly) negatives trying to avoid positive

...or they just follow the wave of panic and do whatever gives more views.
In any case that is wrong thing to keep / follow.

Is it better english now?

P.S./Upd: also they manipulate by tags /keywords like "Elite dangerous commander 1st step in SC" so google finds it by "E:D" keyword and show SC. That's just low.

I empathize with this an would view it similarly. Even if all the performance issues and bugs in EDO were fixed, the DLC doesn't really interest me all that much and offers very little in terms of engaging game play:
  • Ground combat. I'm not really a combat player to begin with and even if I were EDO doesn't really offer FPS game play that cannot be found far better implemented in many other games.
  • Xenobiology. Let's face it, this game loop is so limited that you'd be forgiven if you thought it was an afterthought. Additionally, it's clear that the potential variety of 'life' is so limited that you'll quickly start seeing the same plants and bacteria quite quickly, long before you get anywhere near Elite rank in it.
  • Stealth Missions. This has potential, but it's really not enough to warrant the grind necessary to engineer your equipment. On this note, and as you mentioned, that there is no value in EDO game play for Horizons/flight players means that there's little or no inventive to engage in it. If you principally enjoy flying your ship, there's no reason to ever play on foot.
So, like you I find myself approaching a point whereby I'm also running out of self-defined goals. Beyond ranking up to the top levels with Empire and Federation, heading out to Colonia, and unlocking the Engineers there is probably the only thing l've got left, and I'm not sure it's worth the effort. So while I'm still happy to play, I can see an endpoint looming where there's nothing really there to keep me.

Okay, I see the issue here.

Google literally works by personalising its results to each user based on their search and click-through history.

You click on negative videos, so it shows you more negative videos.

You don't see positive videos, because you haven't been watching positive videos (you've literally said this too).

You're drawing false conclusions based on incomplete information.

Simple, really.

I'll end this by asking, even though I already know the answer: have you been watching The Buurpit's videos, or Galnet News Digest, or Ghost Giraffe?

Unfortunately, there is not a single game out there that can compete with ED, else i would be playing it.

Ah, this is the nub of the problem. I rib SC backers when they say there is no game exactly like SC, but that applies for most games really.

What I really want is what ED offers in general, but not quite what FD have done specifically. SC with its single system (and even if they add 110 like backers paid for, it wouldn't still give me that big space feeling).

There are many things i'd like to see in ED and many things i'd like to see done differently. But i know i'll never get that game and its not likely anyone in my lifetime will give me that game. But ED is the closest approximation.

But for me to return to ED, i need performance, otherwise i might as well just stab myself in the leg with a fork for amusement.

On top, i really hope FD can do something with the planetary terrain generation, and they do something to reduce the grind for suit upgrades, which seems excessive even compared to ship engineering.

And i also hope they will do something with plant scanning, because only being able to scan 1 plant at a time or things get reset is just absoloutely abysmal design in my opinion.

1. everybody listen what streamers say - different ones. and follow their advices,
Reality is the streamers are following public opinion, as it's in their interest to do so, not the other way around.
2. streamers all do/say like copy-pastes of each other that "all is bad".
They don't. You clearly haven't watched many of these videos.
3. at least 1 streamer lied.
Ergo all streamers are bad - logical fallacy.
4. I don't see on forums links to positive changes which I see in-game by my eye
And you presume this is down to the streamers and not down to FDev repeatedly disappointing players with broken promises?
5. I don't see in google result links to positive changes.
Again, you don't bother actually checking the content itself.
6. when I try to post some positive on forum I'm blamed that i'm bad white knight
Get off the cross, someone needs the wood.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Problem is that people confuse this with an entitlement to their opinion being respected. There's a difference. If you post nonsense you're going to be told that you're doing so, and that isn't down to a conspiracy. Remember, just because a man believes with his whole heart in something, doesn't mean it's not crap.

I like this 😁

After having to digest all what the arm chair CEO's had to vent about stock holders and financial years and whatever else they pulled from the guts of a chicken, reading this☝️ was a breath of fresh air.

Have any link with positive w. knighting of any big streamer?
before odyssey im sure you will find many hopeful streamer videos, i wouldn't call white knight but there are a ton of them being nice to the game, after odyssey, well, they couldn't please even some of the playerbase (hopefully someone won't jump at me and "HEY BUT IM PLEASED")

not related to the quote tho, OA were always positive as far as i remember (im a fairly new player compared to the 11k hour ones), but saying he's doing these videos for gathering likes on the hype sounds a bit too much imo, like when he was prasing the hell out of the game was fine, but when the release came out as a wildfire hes not allowed to call frontier out? he was even way more polite than i expected.
