Biomes to consider for 2023

I love all the biomes for the maps so far. I do think it would be nice for the sake of variety to add some missing biomes to the game. Especially non mountainous areas of the world.

Definitely a Savannah biome, you could get away with using the Jurassic Park buildings as they are thatch and are suitable for an African theme buildings. For me, it would be just African decor and dinosaurs and maybe a new type of tour vehicle? Also give the Rangers more umpf, ie new missions or the ability to flick between lethal and non lethal for dealing with dinos, this would be more life like and would be a true representation of a working Ranger.

I suggested some specific locations for some these biomes previously this year with some other individuals in these posts:

You know, the Dominion Malta Expansion did introduce a sixth environment type called “Mediterranean.” Just like Alpine and Taiga, Mediterranean is closely similar to the base game’s Desert environment, with its own unique perks of course.

Like for example: Taiga has violent or extreme snowy/blizzard weather and/or effects on all its maps, but not Alpine as the latter has rain or light snow weather instead on some respective maps. Mediterranean has forest trees that contribute to a dinosaur’s comfort, but Desert has fewer tree options besides paleobotany and none of them contribute to a dinosaur’s forest comfort which is completely absent for those maps.

So, I like to wonder if they are planning to add more environmental types like the ones you added, they may have their own perks to differentiate between one another? Like what if there will be an Arctic environment, similar to Taiga, but has zero tree and few shrub brushes, excluding paleobotany? Or a swampy environment, similar to tropical, but with plants exclusively placable in water? Or plains, similar to Temperate, but with an exclusive weather effect that can damage your structures like lightning or wind without rain?

Revisiting a thread from December. It would be a far fetch, but I would still want to see one swamp biome and one savannah. Being born in Miami, my backyard is the Everglades. If something like it existed in the game, that would be unique in the game, considering it has no mountains or hills in the background. It would be an ideal place for dinosaurs like Spinosaurus and Deinocherius. This is a picture of Everglades National Park.

Another types of ecosystems that might be nice to see added is the dwarf forest, a forest found at higher elevations where there is sufficient air quality, but poor soil quality. Some specific locations they are found include Mount Hamiguitan National Park in the Philippines, Gunung Leuser National Park in Sumatra, El Yunque National Forest in Puerto Rico, and the Dartmoor Forest in Wistman's Wood, southwest England.

If they add an African location, I think it would be cool if they added some new plant species, particularly Baobab trees, Quiver tree, and candelabra tree, to used as decorations and or brought back the coastal vegetation brush.

I discussed my suggestions for new vegetation ideas in another thread, which I will include the link for here: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/more-vegetation-options.612791/
