Biowaste Delivery Missions Bugged?

Keep getting the mission board full of biowaste delivery missions to the same station in the same system. Every faction has them, as many as you can haul. They are going for about 400 - 700K per mission, some with more tons, some with fewer.

I took a couple trips and then wondered if it was a bug so I stopped, but they keep populating.

Is this a bug? I don't want to use an exploit.

Missions only ship out goods they have in stock, to viable destinations. This is the fundamental mechanic behind places like robigo, sothis etc... they are so remote it'll always give them to the same or similar locations. Chances are the station you are in is:
- tourism or terraforming or military economy
- isolated with only two or three other stations within 50ly.

Cargo value doesn't affect cost as much as quantity and distance shipped, so a similar mission shipping palladium or gold would only offer a couple hundred thousand more at most.

If there are many viable destinations, you get a much more random selection of destinations.

Imo, not an exploit, just a limitation of the mission generation system. You can sometimes luck out and get similar mission generation anywhere (i once had 20 odd missions generate in a boom state in a densely populated area in such a way i didn't even have to leave the station)

I wish I was English like my hero Tj.
There's a joke in there somewhere.

But seriously, what Jmanis said. ^ :)

It will be a glorious day whenever whoever designed E: D's mission system realises that the saying "where there's muck, there's brass" can be taken a bit too literally sometimes.

What kind of station are you at?

I feel like tourist stations or colony surface bases have a high chance of biowaste missions if there is also an agricultural station in a nearby system.

Since I'm moving on to other things, the station with the insane amount of biowaste delivery missions to a very close large pad station is Palmer Terminal in Kalibia.

Go with your biggest hauler :)

Well if you do enough of those you might open another business venture for yourself. If memory serves poo delivery gives rise to Outbreaks, which means you can also make a killing on medicine deliveries afterwards :p

Medicine station is in a different system though, and those don't seem to be stacking.

Make way for the Stool Bus, all aboard.
