Black Boxes Exploding

I don't know how many pips you have to Engines, but if you have one or two or none, the throttle control sensitivity is reduced (as overall throttle travel adds less thrust relative to movement, at least for my control, I use HOTAS). Less pips, more control.

I usually fly a Corvette, which is super stable, so no pips to engine, scooping is a breeze. Other ships not so much. Can't speak to a Clipper, don't own one. But try less pips.

Thanks, I'll try less pips next time I find one, but really I don't have a problem anything else and with 1500+ hours on this ship alone (we're kinda married) I don't think it a ship issue.. more a Ship+Black box+Recently issue... which it shouldn't be,
I've been in the black for a while and there were no black boxes out there, but it' really shouldn't be any different to anything else as far as I can see

Hmm. Clipper.
I have a suspicion this could be the return of a previous bug.

Return of a Clipper bug...
The last one to affect me was the ship exploding on recall bug... I'd only had it a couple od days and both me and my mate were ground side and called our ships back... both his Black and my White one exploded in the air, never found his one but we found mine it was so lightweight I could push the husk around like a balloon with the buggy.
