The Black Hand of Orion was originally formed from a conglomerate of disparate, fanatical, quasi-religious organisations, brought together by the common goal of acquiring power and influence. Most member organisations trace their heritage back to isolated systems in the Orion Spur and the Sagittarius Arm sectors of the galaxy, from which the group takes its name. After a mass suicide of religious cultists, we are what’s left of the Black Hand of Orion. Turning our back on extremism of any type, we are anarchists in the sense of liberty and independence, with a whole arsenal of methods to achieve our goals, not all of which are strictly speaking legal in other systems.
BHOO is an anarchist, independent group looking to share knowledge and to help members progress with their personal goals. We have a mix of experienced members as well as cadets still learning the ropes. We mainly use Odyssey although Horizons / Beyond players are welcome for non-wing missions. Squadron missions are posted on Inara.
We have Europe and US based members and use Discord for voice when flying in wings. We have people online most days but are relaxed about members' time commitment. Our home system, Hodur, is a beautiful system and our Coriolis starport, Al-Khowarizmi station, has an Interstellar Factor and one of the best bars in the region.
