I had forgotten the peaceful effect of this view from my cockpit window:
I am picking my way around the Outer Rim. Whilst around the same distance as Colonia from the Bubble, here it is very black and feels truly remote. (I am sure I will return to BP one day, but it is a LONG way!).
Anyway, I saw this large potato and decided to investigate.
It has a diameter of 395 km and silicate geysers, so worth avisit. My second look into a likely spot revealed this:
It is an extensive area so I land to give Eagle III a bit ofa wash:
And to get up close to the large fumeroles:
It is quite impressive driving around so I decide to make a short video:
