Blood and sweat. Elite Dangerous.

Good day! I would like to raise the topic of the respawn of materials and data provided by the Guardians, as well as materials on the surface of the planet.
Today we have a system for extracting the above game objects through the client's relog.
Maybe it's time to change that?

For example automatic respawn in 5-10 minutes.
What do you think about this?

Have you seen the thread about the Engineering feedback? I believe a change to the whole Engineering process will have its benefits spread to all forms of materials gathering 🤞

Have your say there!

To obtain the Blueprints for the modules and weapons of the Guardians at the moment it takes 21 hours and 30 minutes in real time, without stopping and without going to the toilet! =)

The relog is a solution to a design problem which makes unlocking game features a redundant low skill time sink.

As I stated in the engineering feedback thread, specific missions to unlock features is a much more desirable enterprise over gathering hundreds of identical mats through identical gameplay loops.

Before relog is removed, the unlock gates have to be improved.

acredito que a quantidade de intens drops deveria ser mais aleatória e não apenas 3 por unidade r que as missões também dão algo mais digno do que só misérias ninguém merece farmar tantos dias pra engenharia basta querer trabalhar na vida real

I believe that the amount of intens drops should be more random and not just 3 per unit r that the missions also give something more worthy than just miseries no one deserves to farm so many days for engineering it's enough to want to work in real life

Used to be one and they updated it to three because of player complaints, now you want it randomised? So sometimes you will get one?

when I say random it would be the drop chance of 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 15 something like that

I know you get the idea... I just gave some examples
Hello commander, bem vindo ao fórum.

Your suggestion and examples are clear for me.. you know, i've seen dices working before so i get the idea of randomness in between a range of numbers. Lucky me i guess?

there's so much to improve in ED and it'd be a good idea to take a look and promote your suggestion in the engineering rebalancing topic, as mentioned previously.

just be aware of two things:
1 - So many people make suggestions for the game daily.. it may take a while until it gets (if ever) attention of the devs;
2 - For each and every bug/bad design/lack of feature in ED's, there'll be a random number in between 2 to 15 of trolls/white knights trying to make you feel bad about suggesting that ED could improve somehow. So pick the arguments you'll engage wisely, preferably from those who are honestly interested in contribute for the development of your idea.

I personally always thought it was ridiculous that you have to race to pick up materials in space. They just disappear. Nothing in space just as that. So if you are fighting multiple ships you are going to lose materials

It's a limitation of computers. The game can't have an infinite number of objects, so it "retires" some with a degradation process. You'll notice the stuff you find in signal sources doesn't do that, because the game doesn't expect to have a lot of objects in those.

Generally the low grade stuff is so common, you will fill up on those quickly enough even with degradation. The high grade stuff? By the time you are focusing on those you can ignore most of the mats you see so you tend to get most of the high grade stuff anyway, so, it's not really a big issue.
