blue lines around planets on planet maps

I thought it was about those weird animated circles you see in the background when you zoom all the way into landable planet :D
Correct answer is above - on the system map they indicate planet is landable.

guys... thanks 4 answers but I am asking different thing... it is, when u zoom in to a landable planet till change to planet map, u see what I mean... some blue lines swirling around the planet... so, don't make silly jokes before understand the question... there is only one real answer to my question is caramel clown's... I hope he is not joking too...

They are orientation lines, when you move the image around you will see they match the movement of the pole lines, they are to give a more 3D effect I suspect.

Please excuse the silly jokes, many members of this forum have been 'out in the black' as it were, for significant periods of time, and as such are now quite mad. Still, the......ooh shiny! Honk, jump, honk, jump, honk.....

because of the odds, finding any significant thing in the galaxy, I thought they may contain some hidden clue among them... developers wants players to find secrets right?

There still could be secrets out there, but I for one think we'll see lots of hints dropped, or an exploration community goal to help us find them... I mean, what's the point of coding in something for it never to be found?

Looking forward to the removal of the permit required, really want to start snurgling around thargoid space.....

no problem... I don'mind it... yet, I wanted them to read first, think right, then if any silly situation around... ok, go for it... but there is not any here... ;)

That's an interesting thought. Finding is just pot luck at the moment, or so it appears, I am checking out planets all the time out on the Colonia Connection route so I will examine a few and see if any vary significantly.

till now I can say... as I rotated the planet, there appears a different set of lines but they refer same spot of all the planets... there are too many of them that, I couldn't count sets exact number because they got in to each other... I couldn't find any differences up until now but didn't examine them deeply too... some sets have lines and dots... that made me think morse code but I don't think they r... because as I examine different planets, they look same (not sure %100 though)
