Blueish pulsating sphere - have you seen it?

Hi commanders,

I was trying to help newbies in Eravate CG yesterday. In SC I saw a blue-ish pulsating sphere, which disappeared after about 30 seconds...

Anybody has any idea WHAT WAS IT?

No it's someone getting interdicted, NPC or other player.

One of Frontier's annoying failures - that they don't really publish these changes loudly enough (like a patch dev video of new features, etc) so people assume they are bugs.

So by yer reckon, this here be yon feature denoting said interdictions if ye be so inclined to visitate, and not yon spirits of the deep black comin' fer ye very sooouuuuls?

Besides yon spirits know better than to squander their time seeking that which baint there no more.

Every screenshot I have seen of been this that I have remembered to look has no ships at that position on the scanner...

Thing is, were ships still present on the scanner until it turns to a low wake signal before? I don't recall.

It's someone getting interdicted, the effect also causes "ripples" in your view. I've watched it happen more than once & dropped in on a couple to "rescue" the interdicted pilot, on the rare occasion that I'm found in a combat ship...
