And legend has it thus began the Boötes pronunciation wars.
Since the arguments began back around the 21st century between the "Ooo" the "Ooh" and the "Oou" factions, billions have died in the resulting inter-stellar wars.
In the intervening millenium, no amount of Mod or Dev intervention have been able to lessen the carnage and suffering caused by the Boötes pronunciation wars.
STOP THE MADNESS PEOPLE!.

I'll never think of it as anything other than booties, the kind I wear when I can't be bothered to find my socks. That's one thing they never teach you in astronomy degrees - it's sink or swim when it comes to naming.
