Bots?

I learned long ago that every contest has cons who will test you. It's not a foot race to the finish, there is no end game. Short of griefers who aren't happy unless you're not happy, I don't see how even if it was a bot that it would change one thing about how you play your game.

Why let it bother you? Interdict him, see what happens.

People playing with the oculus rift can have a hard time to answer in game comms. A virtual keyboard would be nice in order to not break immersion

Honestly I have "direct message from players" turned OFF when traveling. I got tired of the people who think the game is an IRC chat channel.

I'm not saying that questions, help requests, info on pirate sightings etc. are bad....but sometimes just get to the point!

Seriously if I had to smalltalk with every other random player I come across when simply trying to travel 100-200 LY, the trip would take forever.

Besides, friends & guildmates are more than enough to chat with.

Wouldn't a "trade bot" imply a fully functional A to B autopilot? That'd be an impressive feat.

Depending upon how they were programmed they would work as well as the NPCs in the game.

Given also that all the NPC algorithms are client side making one would be relatively simple (for those that can code)
