I bought the game installed it (using steam) then it sent me a verification email. when I typed in the code was given this message ( please purchace/redeem Elite Dangerous to continue) I am new to steam. how to redeem?

(Because the Steam version changed in April you now have to log in via your Steam login - it is a pain - but it will work if you persevere.)

thank you, was a lil tedious but I have this game on ps4 its worth the time.
The site for linking your Steam account doesn't work for me. It never redirects me to the approval site.
Raise a support ticket then (not a bug report) the peeps at https://support.frontier.co.uk/kb/ are ultra-helpful.
I did a few days ago. I haven't heard back yet.
Did you get an acknowledgement email and can you view your ticket?
If no to those then the ticket either didn't get created (maybe a captcha issue) or you made a bug report which is not responded to so raise another one as the site says "up to 72 hours" at the moment but the acknowledgement email is immediate anyway.
Yes, I got a confirmation email. I'm on here in hopes I can find a solution in the mean time.
