I expect I'll have to go back to the carrier, rearm and try again.

Sorry, I don't have time for this.

Frontier, please post a workaround for these issues if you have one. Clearly this isn't working, it was already bugged yesterday with far fewer people trying to play.

You can synth caustic heatsink charges


Also check again on the definition of unplayable

I flew in in open, bunch of CMDR's are hanging on the titan via their tv-beams like leeches, all the thermal vents are blue.

I almost cried like you, maybe I cried more than you !

But then something in me moved. I overcame my fear and frustration, logged out, and logged into solo. I refueled/rearmed/repaired and went back to titan.

I only hit 5 (I think) thermal vents twice and got the 1M cr. reward each time (it appears FDEV re-adjusted the reward since I only have 2 stock C2 missiles).

The game is playable after all.

i know it will be hugely sub optimal but will i be any use at all if i brink in my thargoid hunting Krait to the party? (bear in mind whilst it was a good anti thatgoid ship it is a build from well over 6 months ago so likely out of date now)

Absolutely, just remember to swap out any guardian weapons for ax missile racks, since guardian weapons get destroyed in titan systems.

Certainly useful, though it might take several runs before you make it to the 2M reward. Just make sure to grab caustic heat sinks and the anti-Titan nanite torpedo first.

During each attack at titan I see quite funny thing.

A lot of people claim that "noone play open, it has no point, crushing majority play in solo".
And here we are.
Tons and tons of people in mode which "noone play" :D
Today I did like 8 runs.
7 instances worked, 1 not. When I found bugged instance I did 1 simple trick. I found on my contacts any player in instance, blocked him and reloged. New instance worked fine.
Oh, and in 1 working instance I seen hydra around titan :D

Btw, bugged core is classic example of bugged instance, which can happen anywhere. With bad luck you can encounter some bugs even in solo (like some player which talked about it on sys chat, not long ago).
Sure, smaller chance, but still non zero chance.

Not running into any bugs at all in solo so must be a issue with instances in open. Getting 40-50mil in damage per run and 3-4mil per heat cycle so around double what I was getting a week ago. Leigong doesn't have long to live lots of cmdrs are hitting it hard. o7 to my fellow bomber pilots keep it up

Just toss some Sirius or reg enhanced ax missles and your good I built a cutter and a krait for bombing runs and the krait is my favorite for solo runs. The cutter is doable but they see me more in it even though it's cold it's just a bigger visual target and gets noticed more.

Taking 2 caustic sinks let's you avoid having to do that heck I think one is enough tbh. People just gotta get used to diving into the core its not hard once you get some time in there. Night vision helps for avoiding the mines too fyi

And of course you can leave the titan via stuck recovery when you are done 🥳.. no caustic and no pulse at all 😍

The FOMO is soooo real, I might try to get on when I get home from work, usually midnight. Full day again tomorrow at work so I canna sit up late though. Reminds me of my youth, coming home late and playing WoW until 4am, and still being able to do a full days work the next day!
Alas age and work has crept up upon me :oops:

Shame about instances in PG and Open not working :( Either the pineapple was constantly out or always in. Tried in Solo and got wiped out before I could torp all of the vents.
I also tried blocking those who were just thermal-vent beam-lasering the pineapple and ended up in an empty instance.
Deeply frustrating...

I took 2 junior alts out last night, after building a Clipper from scratch (so "A" rated where it makes a difference) at Jameson, nipped out to a rescue ship for the AX goodies, then flew over to Leigong and hit the heart for a few million each. these ships had no engineering done.

So, yes, you should be Ok, but, being a bit warm, will attract Thargs like moths to a flame... Go for it!

(and, if you play it in VR, it will be amazing!)

PG was working reliably last night - but maybe as it was only a few of us playing at once?
I gave up on open play with Titans when Taranis was on its way down and many players were instanced together, it was like flying through treacle...
