Breaking news, birds are coming our way.

Also if I find the clown who posted this obvious lie, I'll cover them in honey, push 'em into a pile of birdseed, and unleash a flock of pigeons.
lol hope it'll happen on a Wednesday because that's when my Cockatiels have their Protein Day😂

I'd personally much rather get a new Planet themed animal game than Planet Zoo 2, Planet Aquarium or Planet Farm maybe!
Don't know what's always with Planet Aquarium rather than Planet Zoo 2. A Aquarium is a Type of Zoo and it would be a Shame if I could for Example not have Gorillas in the same Park as Tiger Sharks or a big Reef Tank.
I can understand Planet Farm though (but also really want more Farm Animals in Planet Zoo) because it could be like Farm World (that Game that's like the original Wildlife Park but with Farm Animals) where we would be able to grow and harvest our own Plants, let Staff collect Eggs and Milk, make Cheese and Bread and sell those Products to Customers

Bird Paradise is currently collaborating with a very successful UK based video game developer who already is an industry leader for several years in the virtual zoo simulation world and is developing their first ever game expansion based on Bird Paradise. Very exited about this as the younger generations will become familiar with our beautiful park and birds in general.

Ah… I see we’re going into 4Chan levels of unsubstantiated rumors
Because it makes use of existing animations (mostly) and adding texture and detail is just redoing the exterior. It's nowhere near as difficult to make as say the porcupine, which was the only challenging animal in this pack. The rest were way easier.

I’m very much getting tired of the “wE nEeD mOrE tHaN oNe RiG iN a DlC fOr ThE dLC tO bE aNy GoOd” line that’s been going on for years. Now, I’m gonna preface this that I’m not in the slightest against modding, it’s the thing that will make this game last farther beyond its active development, ONLY as long as there’s goodwill between frontier, the modding community and the greater community at large. And based off of my impressions playing this game and essentially being a ghost in this community for the past 4 years, some (but not all) members of the modding community have been poisoning that wellspring of goodwill with inflated egos and weaponized ignorance (the basis of the whole “ClOnE aNiMaLs” argument. It does a disservice to the game and to the real life counterparts of these animals to have this way of thinking). I reserve my judgement of a dlc based on 1) model quality and 2) animation quality, and not animal inclusions. Will I point out missed opportunities? Yes of course. I did it for Twilight, Grasslands and Arid. But that doesn’t mean the animals Frontier picks for the dlcs are worthless or “not add anything to the game.” They very much do add something to the game, whether you like them or not. Not to mention the fact that (at least in my opinion), using mods during active development isn’t the smartest idea, since there’s always a chance a new major update will break mods

Now, to the topic at hand: will aviary birds make it to Planet Zoo? Well, that’s still very much up in the air. I for one am hopeful that we will. Not exactly in the same way as JWE2 (which, let’s face it, are essentially that game’s version of exhibits, with some degree of intelligent AI), but with the walkthroughs or potentially standalone box aviaries. The one thing I’ve learned about Frontier is that you should never say never when it comes to things that they could implement, except perhaps for fully aquatic habitat animals (that would require a rework of the habitat system that I don’t honestly see happening at this point in development). In fact, Frontier just recently proved wrong another “never”: the fact that we would never have the crested porcupine in game. Which we now have

Also: let’s not forget that Planet Zoo is just a GAME at the end of the day. Sometimes it’s good to unplug and touch grass for a short amount of time, and to not always take things so seriously with this game

(Also also: not calling ANYONE out here… but using alt accounts to astroturf takes and troll/harass people isn’t a good look, especially on a forum that at the very least has a ton of teenagers or kids on it, just as a general piece of advice on here)
