It is within the top 10, but it is not easy to stay up there.

Just getting in a bit of hauling practice in case I want to try my hand at base building, only thing is they need to adjust the distance a lot before I will be interested, think along the lines of a deep space carrier server station:)

I guess you are going exploring then - Mandalay now available for credits. :)

Yeah, I took a day off hauling yesterday to get mine engineered and a quick trip to my favorite test system. The Mandalay flies almost as nice as a Cobra. 😁

Anyway, back to hauling in my T-8 again today. Got interdicted about 2 seconds out from Starlace. THREE FLINGIN' FLANGIN' TIMES! By the same flingin' flangin' NPC. Every time I evaded him I ended up further away from the station. That's so annoying.

Of course, if I'd switched to my Python Mk III the NPC would have disappeared.

I broke into the top 25% today. I found a 3-way route, pick up CMM Composites & Silver, hop systems, sell the Silver, buy Power Generators, then sell everything at Starlace.
Too bad Starlace is such a garbage station and doesn't have anything another station would want.

If the new megaships are guaranteed to have CMM stocks then there will be a mad rush to participate in the CG.

Otherwise, it's no contest where people will spend their time. 🤷‍♂️

Don’t let the people moaning about colonisation know that you have been using CMM Composites when something less vital for them and less profitable for you would have done as well for the CG.

Hmmm... that carrier offering 500k seems to be gone.
Let's make a deal: offer me >30k/ton on your carrier for CMM and sell Copper at <1k/ton, somewhere within 20 ly + 2000 ls from Minerva. I bring you the CMM and take the copper.
  • Win for you (you get your CMM)
  • Win for me (I get the cash)
  • Win for the CG (they get their resources, they won't care whether it's CMM or Copper)

Note I am still hauling copper for the CG I am not even doing more than glance at colonisation until next week at the earliest. That includes not stocking up my FC yet.

Sit back, watch, listen, evaluate, plan, when all the foreseeable problem's can be resolved, prepare and execute.

It seems that too many have forgotten to look before they leap:)

If I understand interdiction mechanics correctly, if you submit, you'll be placed at the interdictor's position. Note that the distance between you and the interdictor fall rapidly once the interdiction has started. In theory, if you don't submit right away and let the distance drop, submitting 5-10 seconds later, for example, will let you emerge closer to your objective.

CMM Composites are yielding almost 3x more profit per unit than Power Generators.

I have no idea of it is true, but I wonder if the credit amount of your contributions also count toward the effort? It only took me a couple partial loads of those to bump me from the top 75% to top 25%
