Adding new dinosaurs to unlock is a relative simple content update. Adding new functionality like most Elite updates is a lot more complex.

I don't why but paint jobs for dinosaurs makes unreasonably angry, seems like so much more a cash grab than ships for some reason... did they do pumpkin heads for dinosaurs at Halloween or Xmas jumpers in December?

Its a false equivalence. Comparing game A to game B to determine how much effort is in a an update is doesnt work on any level.

I'm not a plate-ologist or whatever they're called, but Xmas tank tops would probably be better for dinos as many of them have tiny arms.

Obviously my statement that it mainly adds Elite paintjobs was a bit tongue-in-cheek, but alright, I'll check for myself.

The Steam page for this DLC says: "this DLC features two entirely new dinosaurs, two new variants for existing species, and eight eye-catching skins that players can use to bring their parks to life."

I guess I wasn't terribly off the mark. Especially since I also mentioned adding new dinosaurs.
