Broken Promises - Feedback to full release

I was super exited for the full release after the beta was super fun, but had several major issues. And now im sitting here after 20 hours playing the full game and feel a little betrayed. Here are the points I'm confused about:

  • One of the biggest things are the (non existing) animal behaviors and social interactions. We were PROMISED, that the interactions where just turned off for Beta. But since I've started playing I didn't see a single interaction, expect fighting, between animals. Babys get born and immediatly run away from their mother. Nobody ist playing with each other. Animals just run around with no sense. Using an enritchment item, run around more and sleep. Thats it. Thats not what was promised. The animals don't feel individual or alive, more like moving objects. Please Frontier give Feedback, many players are confused about that aspect!
  • Time is still going to fast. I was hoping it was just for beta testing, but time wasn't slowed down recognizable. Because of that, some animals die way to fast.
  • The animal market often doesn't react to a mouse click. You have to click several times before you get what you want. It's EXTREMLY annyoing. Please fix that.
  • There ist still NO FAMILYTREE. It's really exhausting to prevent inbreeding. You have to manually compare the partners. Especially for animals with a lot of Offspring (for example Peafowls) it is really annoying and time-consuming.
  • After a while playing sometimes the Hotkeys (especially X) won't work anymore, so you have to restart the game.

I love the game, but there are still many issues. Yes, the game just came out but broken promises without ANY Feedback feel a little odd. I hope the promises weren't false, because in that case Frontier lied to us costumers and that would be REALLY sad.

Hey there! I really super appreciate the acknowledgment of the social interactions issue, thanks so much!

I am wondering though, several other issues have been mentioned repeatedly and have not been addressed yet (as far as I’ve seen, that is). Could you possibly address the speed of time issue, the lack of a family tree, etc? My personal biggest pet peeve is the behaviors of the wolves in the game, why their pack size is only 2, and why they all look the exact same; I’d love it if that could be addressed at all as well, since wolves are my favorite animal and unfortunately from what I’ve seen, the most unrealistic and practically unplayable.

Thanks for continuing to take in our feedback about the game!

Hopefully at least part of the wolf issue can be addressed in changing the social interactions but it sounds like wolves may need special attention to be functional pack animals.

I can absolutely acknowledge that we have read/seen all of that feedback, but I do not at this point in time have an update on those topics. As soon as we do, we will post it on the relevant threads on the forums :) thanks for the feedback and your patience!!

A lot of things are still missing. The only additions are: more animal calling and occasionally playing with each other.
I would love a family tree. It would make me connect with the animals a bit more, "Aww, that's Tom's son", or, "Ah, the Mufasa line is 9 generations strong!".
