Yes, your plan to travel 26,000Ly in under two hours would suffer a serious setback if you were moved 12Ly further away.

P.S. for those wondering I just wanted to say that I've been in contact with drakhyr (the OP). He's OK, just taking a break from the game at the moment. I have high hopes that he will return and do an update to the OP and scoreboards eventually so for now we just need to be patient.

Yes, the change in scanners (i.e. removal of their mass) will need a change in how I record things on the board, and I haven't yet worked out exactly what I am going to do about that. I am hoping to bring the leaderboards up to date within the next week or so, and certainly before the end of the month.
