And here it is, your moment of zen... The final results for the Buckyball Run A*
Well what a surprise. CMDR Alot wins again.

I say that both flippantly and with a great deal of respect as since BBR6 Alot has proven that he won't let anything stand in the way of first place. He doesn't ever cheat or fly dirty, either. It's through skillful piloting, careful planning, and pure determination as it is with any of the pilots with top times on this board. This goes for the pilots like Rusticolus, Takaru Minari, and the other top-time setters who flew the different classes of ships out to Sadge to prove it could be done.
Alot's time was the fastest in his Anaconda
Rhonda with a scorching 8 hours, 43 minutes and 43 seconds. It became pretty obvious that with its high-end fuel scoop that the Conda was going to be the ship to beat, but that doesn't mean people didn't try. Rusticolus's Asp
My Bare Asp made an incredible run of just 9 hours, 17 minutes and 30 seconds, with Drakhyr's Asp
White Lightning barely five minutes behind him. I think that goes to show the Asp Explorer can hang with the big snake when it comes to cross-galactic speed runs. Asps were also by far the most popular ship in the Run, representing over 40% of the types of ships in the race.
Rusticolus, not happy with coming in second also set several other records, coming in 9th place in a humble Hauler, a previous favorite of Buckyballers from short distance (sub 500 LY) races, as well as a Lakon Type-6 for 10th for a total of three separate records for the Buckyball A* for those three ship types. CMDR Takaru Minari tied Rusticolus with three of his own record-setting runs, setting the top times for the DB-S, Orca and Sidewinders. Both Rusticolus and Minari have earned the coveted "Too Much Time On My Hands" award, earning them shakes of the head and looks of disbelief from their fellow Buckyballers.

Once again, it's been an absolute blast racing with and getting to know all of you and I look forward to seeing what mischief comes out of the newly formed Buckyball Racing Club and its inaugural A* Challenge, picking up where the BBRA* has left off. Anybody still looking to write their name in glory should head over there. I'm requesting this thread be closed by the mods so that confused pilots who don't see the out-of-order sign in the first post know where to go. Bookkeeping is hard enough without having to monitor both threads for stragglers.
Fly safe, CMDRs!
EZ out. o7
