Though I haven't tried it, I think that this software is great. :):)

Wait until I release BUFFET2, it has a brand new loading and detection routine which I think is rock solid, so *should* work with any configuration of JJFFE/FFED3D/GLFFE or whatever. I just need a bit of free time to finish it off, the only thing left is loading of the ship replacement file, save routine is done.

qwerty; use buffet and jjffe carefully, which means, be shure jjffe or glffe opens on top of all windows (close if necessary), don't click with mouse or press any key except "y" in the opening screen. it happens to me often when i start glffe with buffet that glffe is not the topmost window, clicking on it or the corresponding task to bring it to front, will cause jjffe to exit, cause you stated a "no". ;) (edit ffewin.cfg to start in fullscreen mode should fix it too, switch to windowed mode after you entered "Y", by using "CTRL-ENTER", toggle screens with common "ALT-TAB" could cause a halt, but might work).
sometimes my joystick (virt. mouse) interferences the mouse and jjffe exits before i even did anything else than pressing "start", check that opinion too.
i hope that'll help you until new buffet.

Does anyone know of any free icons that would be suitable for BUFFET? I'm looking for a decent icon in ico format that would contain 16x16, 32x32, 48X48 or higher sizes to use in the upcoming BUFFET2. If anyone wants to create one I'll give full credit and it would be much appreciated.

Speaking of the new version, I know I promised it a while back but it's lack of free time to finish it off. Anyway, I've now finished the loading and saving routines and it's just a matter of a bit of polishing up and updating the readme and we're ready to go.

I made this quick icon in 16,32,48 pixel sizes. A bit simple I guess, but if you want it get it here.

Excellent icons potsmoke! Yeah the reason I said 48x48 is because that is the Vista/Windows 7 default size. Thanks.
