I dont quite understand your point. I logged out in a safe position. My ship was idle. Speed at 0. I log out and log back in and I die instantly. How is it not the games fault and how am I not eligible for a refund? Clearly I dont understand what you are trying to say.

Asteroids move. You can't just park indefinitely inside an RES, so it makes sense that you can't safely log there. I've lost millions too for the same thing, that's life. I should have been smart enough to move outside of the asteroid field first.

Maybe he really logged out because he needed to run to the ATM teller machine and put in his PIN identification number.

I'm guessing when you re-log with no-one in your instance the asteroids move position. You probably spawned part way through one. It's definitely a bug however as you can see you won't get sympathy from people here. Refreshing RES sites is frowned upon by a large portion of players.

Hopefully FD can figure out a different way to populate RES sites based on security and system rather than using RNG. This would be good as it would stop players from manipulating instances through re-log.
