BUGS I'VE FOUND IN THE NEW DEVELOPMENT BUILD

So, I've seen this video:

Before I begin with the "bad things", I want to let you know that I love the new interface/heads up display options, the further and more realistic level of detail, the lightning, the small details on the terrain, the reflections, the newly confirmed dinosaurs, the weather effects, and of course... the improved interactive animations between the creatures (the part when Ceratosaurus and Triceratops fought against each other was, for the most part, amazing). The newly displayed Ceratosaurus skin looks awesome too! [woah]

Well, now that I have stated all the previous topics, I will talk a little about the "bad things":
 1. When the helicopter picked the Triceratops up from the ground, the creature clipped through the floor! [blah]
 2. When one Ceratosaurus was fighting the Triceratops, there was also another one right in the middle of the fight, and, the one which was fighting walked through (and clipped into) the other Ceratosaurus like it was NEVER there! Neither of them reacted at all! [knocked out]
I'm starting to think that clipping is an issue that's hard to resolve/fix. However I hope (and wish) you devs can handle it, or at least prevent it from happening, because it is really sad to look at such great models clip into each other :(

Well... now I'm going to mention another bug that I've spotted while watching this video, at 15:35:
Well, apparently, something temporarily prevented the poor Edmontosaurus from crossing/stepping out of the gate. For some reason (a collision bug), even tough the movement animation was being performed by the Edmontosaurus, it couldn't move its beautiful body to the other side of the gate. I hope you can fix that bug too, because it is really saddening to see :(

THE BEST OF LUCK FOR YOU IN TRYING TO FIX/PREVENT THE BUGS FROM HAPPENING, DEVS!

You are aware that this is an older dev build right? Most of the issues are probably already fixed or are being fixed.

He's still right to mention them and bring attention to them, just in case they've slipped through the cracks.

Hopefully they're fixed for launch.

I wouldn't worry about any of that, this was from late march maybe early April. Even in the newest videos it is obvious they are already fixing concerns.

Do you really believe Frontier would release a game with glaring issues like that?

Wouldn't be the first company to release a game filled with graphical errors and bugs. Not out of laziness or incompetence but because of time constraints.

It's good to flag errors so Frontier are aware and can patch them.

Yes the not so obvious slip through. With big games it happens. But this isn't a game like Elite Dangerous. No where near that size and the problems people are pointing out are obvious ones I am sure Frontier can see themselves.

Anyway any threads about any animation or AI issues are completely needless cause the AI and animation has been fixed or is being fixed and the Muerta gameplay video was of an older dev build IGN probably got from Frontier back in early March or April.

This isn't a new buiid at all my dude.... Its even older then 25th Anniversary day Build.... Even scarring isn't in. On as side note, everybody seems to miss the multilingual warnings :D its a small but really nice touch. It adds immersion.

I hope that IGN posting videos of older builds like this doesn't dissuade people from putting this game on their radar. First time I watched it, I was bummed. Now that I know it's an older build and that some of these legitimate concerns are being addressed, I feel better about it. Still, seems like a bad move. At least slap a big 'ol EARLY BUILD label across the front of videos like this. The clipping was bad and the player was obviously lost. He rarely zoomed in on anything of interest, making the gameplay feel tedious at best. BestInSlot's commentary made it 10x easier to watch.

As to more recent comments, I have to agree, the female announcer is amazing! Bravo on that.

Yeah, I agree with you, I also watched BestInSlot's video and it was obvious what was missing from the IGN video was some commentary to go with the gameplay.
The not zooming in was really a pain to watch, I was almost shouting zoom in to that Dracorex.

Is there a video of the 25th anniversary build? Are there any video's of the latest build?

While it wasn't in large text it did say dev build.
