Build a coaster with 5 seconds of "air time"

I don't even get a Rollercoaster with that stats. There is no help or info how to get the Coaster more fun, more vomit. When there is much fun, it's not enough vomit and much vomit is no fun. I edit nor for about 2 hours and don't get it. This make no fun.

For this challenge there's no such thing as 'not enough vomit'. Check the wording, you have to have "At LEAST 5.0 Excitement" but it says "At MOST 5.0 Nausea". You gotta keep the nausea down.

Also might be worth pointing out that you should keep an eye on the "Total Airtime Duration" on your results tab. I had to push this to 5.1s before it would ping as completed (5.0 did not complete it).

Also, for what it's worth, I started with the pre-built wooden coaster and then just made a lot of ups and downs in it.

I'm a bit annoyed with the giant tree scenario actually. Had a go on it for first time earlier tonight.. Made a woody that hits all boxes but the objective just flat out refuses to update! :(

I've thoroughly enjoyed the challenges in the scenario's that forced me to figure out how the coasters work. I loved this one!

I won it with a wooden coaster that had a LOT of speed and a LOT of hills to go over (around 7 or so). I think it's important to have a coaster go over a hill around 30mph and not less speed. You want decent speed over those hills to get better air time. Also, don't make them too long in the hump.

It's really all trial and error and I loved figuring it out like it was a puzzle.

The "Medium" challenge in the "Great Tree" is actually the hardest part I think. The one for the Monoliths is easier I found (although Ride length was where I had to make adjustments).
.
Just make sure you read the Requirements properly. Air-time Vs Air-count, profit Vs profit from rides, Some times the requirement's are easy to misread if you scan them quickly. Iv done it myself once already.

I doubt you did. I think the requirements are confusing everyone.

Well, I did, over 5 excitement, under 5 nausea, 5 seconds exactly of airtime. I just loaded my game to take a screenshot because I was so sure. Except... dun dun DUUUUUNNN .. the airtime now shows as 4.9!! LOL. Has to have been a minor bug as I was sat for a while tweaking hills to improve airtime until I hit 5 secs.

Regards to the stats, make sure you're looking at "Airtime duration" (listed in seconds) and not "moment of airtime" (listed in whole numbers) - that one caught me for a few attempts to begin with. :)

I think they are using it as a measure of relative force rather than Actual force.

That is what the Workshop is for.... Youll find a plethora of pre-made coasters that fulfill those requirements.
Ill admit, it takes a lot of practice to get the hang of Coaster building, Esp with the Woodies.

yeah i dont think thats the case, even if, the numbers would still be skewed, as its 0g no matter if your upside down or right side up. you do the same G's, right side up or upside down. if it were relative, those numbers would be different.

besides its obvious when building planet coaster prefers under banking, and the reason is because g force doesnt account for planet gravity.

Here is the coaster I passed this with. It wasn't hard once I realized the count and time were different [bored]. This coaster is 8.8 seconds, lol, so I might have gone a little overboard.

For those just trying to complete the objective as simply as possible, don't over-complicate it.

1. Get a loan
2. Buy the default wooden coaster
3. Put in new ups and downs. You should only need to add about 3 and increase their height/depth to bump the airtime value.
4. Watch the figure under "Total Airtime Duration" until it reaches 5.1s. Be aware 5.0 flat will not trigger the completion.
5. Excitement and nausea are already within necessary parameters for the objective to trigger.

"5.0 will not trigger the completion."

Okay, so that's what I'm doing wrong. The objective is wrong then, because it says "at least 5.0 seconds of airtime."
