Building on a new map.

Okay so I mostly play franchise so my post is mainly about that.

I hope frontier will change it so buildings themes wil remain unlocked over your franchise zoo's. I find it frustrating to start a new zoo and wanting to build it in a certain style and not have the things you want to use. Now you have to build a mechanic lab do the research start building a zoo so you can afford the research and once research is done go back to do the things as you wanted it in the first place (which is so much work). So either have the buildings themes released from another franchise zoo or have the themes locked to the continent would be a feature I love to see. (Ex have asian styles unlocked when you open a zoo in asia. Classic theme for europe. Modern for america and so on.)

There is a way around this provided you have an established zoo and some patience. I set up a new zoo. Closed it and built a trade centre, 3 workshops with a staff room each and hired 3 mechanics. Then went to my established zoo and filled my animal storage with the 2k and upwards costing cash listing animals. ( I had about 20 slots available) . Then went back to the zoo I wanted to build next and sold all the cash animals. I did this a few times and had 160k in my new zoo. Then I trained up my mechanics whilst researching with the game speed on full. Took about 2 hours but I now have all he mechanics research done and a blank canvas with 90k to spend.
Hope this helps.

Well it’s a way but not exactly less work as what I do now. I roughly build the things I had planned in material I have available and then go back to change it when research is done. Also a lot of waiting with only a couple of small enclosures. But it’s a pain to build and then rebuild. You spend ages just at the entrance.
