Hi all.
I watched the live streams and building demos over the last few days. I have a question about the grid system.
Now I should say I don't have the game yet, so apologies if this is a simple thing. But it seemed to me from watching the demos that when constructing a building you are fixed to the same 90 degree angle snaps on walls and roofs as you were in rct3.
I know you can take a finished building and then rotate the whole thing to any angle, but can you construct a building with multi angle pieces initially?
Can you rotate building objects around any axis, so for example have a wall on a slope instead of perpendicular to the ground?
By way of example let's say I wanted to create an octagonal building. This requires walls at angles more than 90 degrees to each other. Can it be done?
