Building pieces and shapes are all a fixed size. How about....

Why can't we have drag to increase size of building/shape pieces.

A bit like the roller coaster track length, where you can click and drag and it increases the size in proportion.

It would make building curves in buildings easier and allow great flexibility in creating large shapes.

Trying to build a large round building is impossible.

add wall piece rotation on all axis and I'm in

I'm trying to create the large Mickey mouse hat at Hollywood studios. (I know it's no longer there) and it is ridiculously difficult as everything is to small to build it big enough.

I most definitely agree with this. I want gigantic swords and skulls and hamburgers and a pirate ship the size of a building to weave a coaster in and out of!

Wall piece rotation in all axes would be great as well. I currently have an idea for a destroyed castle, but have no idea how I can build slanted towers and caved in walls (aside from trying to replicate all these items with the basic shapes, which is technically possible but effectively unreachable, considering the size of my castles

I like this idea. I was actually going to request even smaller pieces. The small piece is actually quite big when compared to say a peep. Pieces half again as big could prove very handy. But of course, if we have the ability to resize, that makes my point moot.

Kinda like how brushes or meshes work in map editors?

Would be great, i'm all for real freedom in games. Stuff like this with pre made building pieces in different sizes and different textures feel kinda useless to me. I would love if we just had a single 4x4 piece and we would just be able to apply the material instead of having 20 4x4 pieces all with different materials.

Yes, that would make building allot quicker. Also finding the piece you want easier.

Choose the piece, select the texture, select location then drag it to the size you want, instead of filtering out, then select wall piece where for some reason there are curved pieces and odd bits in the wall tab, then find out that the bit you want can not be recoloured...Etc etc.

Allot of tiny annoyences add up to a huge frustration.

This is probably too much work for every scenery object, but it would seem like a simple 'click + drag' feature would be basic enough for walls and floors, maybe roofs too! it would only be just like placing multiple pieces in a row or column (X,Y) but automatically when holding click + drag for far less clicking, and only then putting them in place when we let go. Then we could still go back and remove specific pieces to replace as windows, doors, etc. Also would be really really helpful for the art shapes since some of them dont match/line up correctly [yesnod][up]

Could you imagine if we had something like this though??

sims 4? When we could have Sims 3 "Create a Style" total control of textures? [haha]

No, I know it is not possible due to process intense.
